Run. Hide. Fight (video)

I'm doing training at work and one of the subjects is violence in the workplace.  This video was in the training.  It is what to do in an active shooter situation.

I'm sad to report that when I went to share this with a group of my very close Facebook friends that I consider chosen family.  One of them had just reported an active shooter situation in San Diego.

I've seen this video three times at work....it is One of the few that do a good job explaining your options. That said, I hope to never need this knowledge!

Baker’s college has been in existence for 8 years. Baker was one of the founders. I watched a little of what I’m calling in my head, “Boring White Men Talk About Bible College”, that announced the presidency choice.

Yeah, it's been one of his many projects - anything for a buck - er, soul.

I wonder when they're gonna need a fresh start from this fresh start.

      Next year?

"Ryann's family never wanted to pay for everything wasn't as much of a support system as we had hoped, and we think we will do better if we move to ------, which is not a cheaper area, but where a bunch of kind donors happen to live.  Unfortunately, one of our cats needs major surgery before we can move it, and we also have to pay the electric bill, our estimate for that is $8500.  We know it's a big ask, but if roughly 55 of you give up your daily Starbucks for a month and send us the money instead, we think we could make it work."

Which makes me cackle that Jill's probably stuck with thirteen.

I know! A dozen looks good online but 13 is supposed to be unlucky. She really wanted that number 14.

So many of these families seem obsessed with even numbers.

It’s not an accredited college, of course, but it’s several steps above Gary’s multiple choice “college”.
