My first coloured pictures

I received a colouring book with Japanese patterns for my birthday and here are two pages I've completed. The drawings are beautiful, but sometimes with tiny details, and I only have some cheap fibre-tip pens that are woefully inadequate... I also tried to use my aquarellable pencils, but the results were rather disappointing. I guess I should buy some better pens; I saw some great advice around here and I'll look into it in the (hopefully) near future.

Oh, and I took the picture with my phone by lamplight hence the vignette. Unfortunately, my laptop is more or less dead, so all I have to post from is the phone... :/

Very interesting and different designs.  I especially like the fan, the plate of shrimp (?), and the pink rolled-up things.

I need some coloring book inspiration. Amazon is fun, but where else can you get unique books? ThoughI still want the Star Wars, HP and Game of Thrones coloring books... :starstruck:

These are really cool - thank you for sharing.

You would also like "Secret Japan" by Zoe De La Cases. It's a beautiful colouring book.

Up to 7 Colouring books in my collection now - an Australia book store had a big sale! Whoops. :)

I like the Japanese designs.  They are delicate and different than any coloring book I have seen.

I really love how you did the teapot/cup.

Whoo hoo I finally predicted a fundie baby name correctly. I couldn’t remember which one I had chosen (ha!) from the dream twin names. But @Bluebirdbluebell helped me remember.

But…poor Arrow. I bet a lot of people will think they misheard the name and think it’s actually Aaron or even Arlo.

      She’s announced the name. And it’s . . . Arrow Chosen.

That has to hit a new low, even for Karissa. According to earlier posts, this was Mandrae’s choice. If so, he’s every bit as crazy as his wife.

The announcement is accompanied by a video of all the kids with their hands on her belly.

I think part of the reason is the rest of kids have An- names, except for Armor.  It makes sense they would add another Ar- name to their quiver.

Karissa is having boy #4. Maybe this one will be Arrow? That’s a name she’s mentioned before, back when she was sure she was going to have boy twins and give birth at Target.

      Yes, that's the name.

The King James Bible College has its first two graduates—a couple! They completed 48 courses, and they are ready for…who knows what? Maybe the NYC Tract and Street Preaching Blast June 12-15? Well, at least Malcom. Women can’t preach according to these folks. Note to self, don’t go to NYC Times Square June 12-15.

Forty- eight! courses!  How did they complete 48 courses in less than 2 years? How long is a course? What kind of work is required to complete one? How many courses did they take at once?  I have more questions, but I'm not going to enroll.

I know this lady gets discussed on here somewhere. I have seen bits and pieces. I love when my worlds collide. I was like oh I know her (from here) when she popped up on my feed. Holy shit. I can’t believe she named her kid that. IMG_2066.thumb.png.b5d48850cfe25509e5ca2968236ac881.png

Lol. Her name is Theresa and she said she would nickname her Tissi. Which is only a little bit better. She never said she would call Theresa “Tess.”
