Indian Mandala 2

Another Indian Mandala.  Done with ultra fine sharpies.  One or two sections in a flair.  The background is colored pencil (yes there are two tones and I see in the photo that the pale lavender is hard to see).  There's also a peach colored pencil on one of the rings (the one that more or less looks white between the yellow ring and the orange circle).  The sharpies bleed but this book is one sided.  I typically put a couple of sheets of paper under pages when I'm using markers (even the flairs) to prevent bleed through.

This is pretty!  I like the colors you used. The design seems to be lifting off the page in a 3D way!  Nice job.  :my_shy:

I really like it, too. The yellow sets off the other darker colours beautifully.

I love the orange in the middle.   You always have really nice color combos.

Sharpies are great, IMO.  They really do bleed through though.

The orange in the middle is a flair instead of the ulta fine shaprie.  And it a fantastic orange.

oh is it the one that looks like it's going to be a darker yellow, but turns out orange on paper?

I don't remember.  I typically test scribble before I start working.  Even with colored pencils.  The marker may look yellow (I can't remember) but it comes off orange if it's the one I'm thinking.
