Downtown traffic & preparations!

And here we go with the newest update:

Monday, 05.06.2018

My first lesson after two weeks of being on break duo to my cold and finishing the classes. He went all crazy and took me into the inner city. Lots of traffic, tram driving on the road, longer tunnels with junctions in them... I did good driving through the city but got tired closer to the end on the way back and made some mistakes.

On Monday evening I went to the class to "inspect" the new instructor. He did quite good and I told my teacher that he did a great job choosing him. One example: The batteries in the mouse were kinda dead during the last weeks. Two teachers mentioned it, but basically ignored it. He noticed it and the second he did he told us to wait and got new batteries.

I also found out that my application was approved! So that means that the moment I'm ready I can do my exams. Next week I will have a preliminary test at my driving school and if I pass that I can do the real thing at the Technical Supervisory Association aka TÜV in German. I pass all the exams at home, so I'll just continue to learn a bit and I hope that I manage to pass. (30% fail the exam for the first time according to recent studies).

Today we did a normal lesson. A tiny bit of Autobahn, parking and regular driving. And a tiny bit of therapy at the end. Seriously, he is great building me up! He told me to decide a bit quicker. I wait to long instead of acting. (For example: Waiting for a car to park in or drive around it. Both options would have been right, but I was awkwardly in the middle because I couldn't decide what to do.) And I should not question everything all the time, just do it. (This is difficult, because I question everything...)

Tomorrow we will do the same thing again, so I can focus on the things I did wrong today.

But today was relaxing compared to the inner city mess on Monday.

By the way, I found an online test with some of the question I have to answer. There is an option to do it in English or other languages, just like the real exam. Click on the little flags to change the language. If you want to try it out, here is the link: https://fahrerlaubnis.tuev-dekra.de/quiz.php?land=UK (Choose category B and click on "Start the demo version online". It is free and safe!) I passed my try with 0 points.

I think AH and Shaun are just over having to do any of the hard work that parenting requires. If they were in a more standard sized family for our current era, they’d have 3 teenagers and would be free to date and travel at their leisure with less help needed. They are in their 40s and so over running around after 5 little boys and doing all that is required to keep those kids safe, nurtured… Most people who have access to BC and medical care make other, more responsible decisions. What is particularly sad about this situation is AH doesn’t really have a motherly bone in her body- and she’ll admit that this role does not come naturally to her. Having lived through many decades and “seasons”, I thought the 40s were the hardest ones. I had tween aged kids plus peri menopause- the health issues were starting to creep up- it was just not a pleasant time.

Also -- I think Braggie is too lazy/ unconcerned about toilet training the "twinbies".

That's my assumption too. She's probably had a couple who trained themselves so she's simply too up her own selfies bother spending any amount of time potty training them.

And yes, when they get potty trained it will be because a sibling or grandmother did it.

Pennsylvanian man wants in on the action with his 25,000 bags of heroin

      Quote

According to a criminal complaint, Ydale Thomas, 35, was behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer when it was pulled over for traffic infractions late last year by a state trooper patrolling I-76.

Thomas claimed he was returning home to the Pittsburgh area after having driven earlier that day to Philadelphia, where he had purportedly sold a dog to a man at a gas station.

The trooper concluded that Thomas was being “deceptive.”

The affidavit contends that, “It cannot be overstated that Philadelphia, PA is a source location for the distribution of narcotics, and a regional epicenter for all criminal activity” and is “a hotbed for wholesale narcotics trafficking stash houses.”

It’s easier to justify overbuying when you pretend lie every purchase was a major bargain.
