This seems to be becoming a pattern, but I have been indulging in a glass or two of wine tonight. For those interested a glass of Yellow Tail Moscato on lots of ice.

That was weird I have been busy working on our new website, so have been back and forth between all our 3rd party extranets and now everything I open that has ads we are popping up . (I wish I could show you all, but that would  not be very professional). I always get a secret thrill when it does especially if it is previewed by itself.  Mind you it would be better if others were seeing it and not just me.

So new website, isn't that fun :smiley-signs131:. I am just using Wix and have imput all the room types, prices, photos ect and then discover when it comes to the payment section that we can not use our RMS system we need to use Paypal or the like. So now I have to see if I can do a work- around.

Been painting our pool fence black. It's been in the low 40's here this week, that's °C, so not the easiest time to be painting. I am well pleased with the results so far, but my god pool fences are intricate. It's the old school kind not the nice glass one, so it has lots of silly double overs at the bottom and round prongie things. We would have loved a glass one but can't afford one.  I have only just gotten all the black paint off my feet as it was so hot I just wore thongs. I also have my first tan lines since I was 14. just a shame they are also on my feet in the shape of my thongs.

Ordered a new king bed for our room we have been getting ready to put back into circulation. Waiting for the curtain place to get back to us now that we have picked a fabric. The carpet looks great, have the new 2 seater corner chaise in place so hopefully it should be ready for March, our busiest  time of year. I hope this bed it better than the last one I got. I made the mistake of getting the smooth top rather than the pillow top and I was very disappointed in it. I ended up putting a separate pillow topper on it anyway, but I was originality worried about how it would feel as they are split kings. That means they unzip down the middle and make 2 long single beds so the room can be turned into a twin room.

Housekeeper tip:

Before checking out do a quick check to ensure you have all your recharging cords.

People haven't donated because of social media algorithms. Yeah, that must be it. And can we please stop calling it fundraising and "meeting needs"? You aren't a charity.

I will add that this guy also talked about her being mentally I’ll a lot. Which reminds me so much of Greg Locke. Who used mental illness as an excuse as to why he could divorce his first wife in order to be with the church secretary 🙄 It seems like a lot of pastors like to weaponize mental illness to their own benefit. And honestly if he did groom her and abuse her like many have said, of course she would be depressed. Who wouldn’t?

While I agree a universal basic income would be a huge help for many (me included!!),

I’m not sure it would make much of a difference. Because if everyone got it, I bet it would only massively increase inflation. Kind of like the cost of living is different in different countries and is usually higher where the average income is higher.

I don’t see a problem with not wanting to leave the house every single day.

Wow, I couldn’t imagine. The only times I don’t leave the house on a daily basis are when I’m sick (and even then, unless I’m REALLY sick I try to at least go for a walk to get some fresh air or walk to the pharmacy if I need to pick up medicine). And very very rarely on a lazy Sunday when I’m home alone and get the chance to do nothing but sewing all day. But that happens maybe once a year.

I just feel really bad and lazy and unhealthy when I stay in all day.
