He's getting bigger!!

He is most definitely getting bigger. He eats everything in sight. We feed them in different rooms & tonight we forgot to shut the door on Millie's food. He ate his then snuck in & polished hers off too. He's currently sleeping it off and snoring like a little piggy. His belly is so swollen.

We're predicting that he will be a big chap. His paws are enormous. We're thinking he's part Maine Coon what with the hairy ears as well.

uh I hate to tell you but cute little Alfie's grow up to be big monster Alfie's, my profile pic is my wee Alfie when he was a super cute fuzzball kitten,  he is now a teenage monster cat who loves to bat anything and everything off of tables, bookcases and counter tops.  He still chews wires and my fingers and I have just recently had to replace my house phone as he chewed right through the wire.  As much as he is a monster, he is my monster and I wouldn't change him for the world lol I hope your cutie pie grows up to be a gentleman cat, he is going to be a very handsome boy and Millie is adorable as well.

ooh big boy!

My feline headship was caught last night teething on my iPhone charger.  WTF Spooky.  At 10 years old??  

Dammit was a name in our house this morning - but for a dog, not a cat!

I feel your pain - hopefully Alfie will grow out of the chewing stage.

(Are you sure it wasn't the dog?  Snuck in from a neighbor's house, maybe?)

@caszandra your boy is gorgeous. I think Alfie's eyes are going to be that colour. I love the big pic. I love kitties so seeing everyone else's makes me go all gooey.

@clueliss that is indeed odd if it's never happened before. Some sort of kitty shared thought process going on? Scary!

@SpoonfulOSugar alas it was all Alfie. He's been caught in the act chomping down on a laptop charger since then.

Poor guy probably thinks his name actually is Dammit. He's also found a new game that involves sneaking up behind Millie, swatting her backside, then running away. My poor big girl is developing a twitch and walking warily around the place now.

My mother was once disappointed that one of the strays my stepfather took in was female and not male.  She wanted to name the cat Dammit Stepfather'sName.  

Love the new Alfie and Millie pics.   I have had puppies, foster dogs with all kinds of behavior problems and kittens.   The only time I lose wires is when I have kittens.   I don't ever puppy proof because I've never needed to, but when we have a kitten I actually crate them (we have a german shepherd size crate for puppies/kittens so they have plenty of room) when I can't supervise constantly because I lose more stuff with them.

Funny whisker story.  We got our now adult cats off Craigs List when they were about 12 weeks old due to the loss of one of our cats that was causing a lot of grief for her lifemate cat.   So I wasn't really planning on getting new baby animals, because we also had a relatively young Papillon at that time.  He was maybe 7 months old or so when we got the kittens.

When the kittens were little, we used an x-pen in the middle of the living room to let them get used to having dogs around and to let the dogs get used to having kittens around.  Then we had them spayed and they both developed seromas and had to be crated for quite a while (something like 6 weeks), so they didn't have full run of the house right away.

After they we had released them into the wild of the whole house, one day I noticed that one of them had virtually no whiskers on one side of her face.   I thought it was a bit weird that I'd never noticed it before and kind of made a mental note about it.    A week or so later, I noticed she had basically no whiskers on the other side.   So I was like well WTF?  Are her whiskers falling out?  breaking off?    I grabbed her sister and she had all her whiskers intact.

A few weeks after that, I see the puppy and the whiskerless kitten hanging out near each other and thought they might start playing and I'd get some pics.  That is not what happened.  As I sat there watching, the stupid kitten sat there while the puppy carefully chewed off the little bit of whiskers that had grown back.

She was like 18 months old before she had any whiskers.  He mostly grew out of it, but I notice if she rubs around his face with her face, he will still take a nibble on her whiskers.  He doesn't do it at all to the other cat.

@Curious your kitty and puppy are lovely! Weird, but lovely.

My younger cat teethed for like 9 months.  I took her to the vet for something else, and the vet checked her teeth and exclaimed "She's still teething!?!?"  Why yes, she is, and I have the chewed cords to prove it, lol.
