Alfie & Millie -sushi & posing

Blahblah

So my return to work this week has put a dent in my kitty worship. Apologies that there will be gaps in updates from now on.

This week Alfie worked on posing for photos,  Millie got her inner kitten back and decided that toys are indeed fun and Alfie discovered people food (Vegemite toast, sushi......) while continuing his shoe worship.

You want me to do what?

Ok, how's this? image.thumb.jpeg.e32a0f7b934045514ab9af3

Nailed it!

Yep, just keep him busy on the couch while I steal this mouse please.

Toast with butter and Vegemite? I'll be in that.

Seaweed salad with sesame oil? Of course.

School shoes are the best.

And this is why I got no housework done yesterday. Alfie needed my leg for a pillow. How could I have disturbed him?

I cannot decide which pose is my favorite.  :my_heart:

I'll be sitting over here wanting a kitten (yeah, no, not an option.)

awww.  I like the second one and the last one the best.  Being pet furniture/pillows trumps everything.

I fully expect to go to the ER some day explaining that I am dehydrated and have a UTI because I refused to disturb sleeping chihuahuas to get up for something to drink and to use the bathroom.

My hair is a deep dark brown with gray streaking through. I had always dyed it, since my 20's. I would get highlights, lowlights, you name it. It always seemed to dye too warm and orange-ish, and I'd have to use blue shampoos and try and get it done ashier the next time. Well, as luck would have it, a few years ago I developed an allergy to several types of dye. I was so sad, because I was afraid my gray would make me look old. My hair is finally grown out and the original color is this super dark brown and the grays look like- ashy highlights! It's much more flattering with my skin tone and I'm about to be a grandma for the first time anyway so I'm at peace with the graying. All that money and effort, I wish I would've had the confidence to just be myself when I was younger.

they wanted an adjustable one so they could sit up and work on their laptops.

If they can do that then they are probably able to find some kind of work that would go towards supporting themselves.

I think the thing that makes me saddest about this is Chris Jeub is probably looking at all this and using it with the younger siblings as an example of why you should not defy him God because you'll end up like Art.

Art will never get a job because Art doesn't want a job. If someone handed them a job they'd still turn it down. They're not interested in work, only grifting. Art & Ryann seem like such a toxic pair!

Right.  Art doesn't want to work.  Instead they want SSI so they don't have to work.

I thought that the adjustable beds would be covered under their medicaid/medicare if was medically necessary? Is that not the case. I know they sought donations for the bed they are using now.

If it's not actually medically necessary, they can get one for half the price, and maybe it would be an incentive to not stay in bed all day.

They didn't get it because it was medically necessary.  They (the 2 of them) spend the majority of their day in bed so they wanted an adjustable one so they could sit up and work on their laptops.

Or sell the bed on facebook marketplace for (hopefully) a good price and buy a new (used) one when they get to the secret new destination.

I think this is a spin off of open plan living - you can't just shut a door and hide the mess. The trend here that I find absolutely mindblowing is a bathroom per bedroom - who's cleaning them all??

Well, unless the people in the bedrooms are under about 10yo, the person who uses the toilet cleans the toilet!

(In quantity we have one toilet per bedroom, but it's more like one toilet per floor, plus one extra for the master bathroom. I clean the master bathroom and the main-floor multi use toilet. Each of my kids cleans 'their own' toilet.)
