A  lot of stressful things have been going on around here, but I have been coloring when I can.  Took the photo of this page indoors so it's not the best, but wanted to get a page posted...it's been awhile. Have several others finished also. This is with my trusty Prismas, Copics, and Winsor & Newton ProMarkers from Creative Cats.

Ah, @Tikobaby, I'm so happy to see this. (I was just typing a plea for a picture from you on my previous post but my iPad crashed and then, here it is!!)

This is stunning, as usual.  You have such a way with colour. And I think I spy your signature 'orchid' there, which makes me happy. It's fantastic!

(I hope the colouring is helping with the stress and I hope things are improving there. It's why I've been so prolific, I think.  You can just escape a bit, yes?)

Yes, that's my favorite Orchid color...isn't it great?  Thank you for your kind words...am glad you like this page. I've got 3 others from the Curious Creatures book finished too. Coloring has been helping me a lot at night with stress when I have the energy. It's definitely an escape that I need right now.

Whenever I see your pictures, I notice how gorgeous the colors are.  I think you have a good eye for color.  I'm jealous! :)

Beautiful as always.   I agree your use of relatively minimal colors is amazing.  For some reason I really love the mid-size yellow/red flower on the left edge.  That particular shade of red/yellow is really pretty.

I'm sorry to hear you are having stress right now.  I hope things get better for you soon!

Thank you very much. I love the red/yellow combo, no matter what the shades are. This page is all about color with the artist cat and the tubes of paint. Yes, my MIL passed away last Sat. after almost 10 days in the hospital and we're pretty tired and stressed. My nighttime coloring is really helping me when I have the energy to do it. Thank you for your kind wishes.  :my_shy:

I'm sorry to hear about your MIL.  Be gentle with yourself.

Thank you.  Mrs. Baby is strong and she's handling things very well, but it's hard for her. She took care of her mom 24/7 here at home so it's a big loss for her in many ways.  Her devoted care kept her mom with us to the age of 88 despite her numerous health issues and she was here with us in our home and not somewhere else, which is what she wanted. So we're grateful for that.  I cannot begin to say how much I admire and respect Mrs. Baby for the way she cared for her mom even though she herself struggles daily with pain and disability. She is one of a kind. :my_heart::my_heart::my_heart:

I'm still surprised his work travel hasn't involved a vasectomy.

@Ozlsn I'm not convinced it hasn't as the twinbies are nearly 3. A secret vasectomy of course.

I’m sure Addie will eventually slow down. They all do. I wonder what she named this child. The first is named after her husband, the second is named after herself, maybe the third will be named after a grandparent.

Do we think Jeanne is courting one of the brothers?

Yes, I think it will eventually happen. She’s always with all the Arndt sons and Arndt gals. There are plenty left to choose from. It will happen at some point. But if it somehow fails, she will not be able to date any of the other brothers. I’m sure the Arndts have a bro code.

So what exactly is the fundraiser for?

Moving costs? Flight tickets? A car / van to move with? The gas money? A deposit? New furniture? Decorating costs? All of the above?

The funds are for a moving service, vet care and meds for the cats, travel supplies for them and the cats, and updating IDs.  They have donors already helping with "move-in and transportation costs," which "significantly reduces our overall budget."  Doesn't seem real clear to me.
