Are you happy now, Curious?

This is gorgeous. I love the colors! (but will return to cowering in abject fear).

That is absolutely gorgeous!  I have just started coloring; I discovered that it slows my mind down at night.  But I'm nowhere near this skilled!

The problem I had is that there are more suitable greens than purples in my set, so there's more repetition in the purple leaves than I would have liked.

You mean I have to "force" you to post every single one?   I kind of thought was the band-aid was pulled off you'd just start posting them without me having to threaten you each time.

As you already know, I like this one.  I think the colors are just fine, too.  I never have great luck when trying to plan ahead on what colors I want to use because I always mess up somewhere and have to change my plans  

I do generally have an idea for what I want the finished page to look like when I'm done.

For a while I thought maybe the green vine would have purple leaves and vice versa. I'm glad I didn't go that way.

This is beautiful, @happy atheist.  I saw this book recently and stood with it in my hand for ages, tormented about whether to buy it. I thought I would need better quality colouring tools to do it justice, so I put it back. I may have to rethink that decision. I think you've done a unique take on this picture, with gorgeous results. I'm so glad Furious made you post it!

I think it would have looked ok that way, but I am a fan of using different shades of the same color together, so I like the way you did it a little better, I think.

It just makes you scarier because you can fool people with a sweet coloring persona if you wish and then take them unawares.

It's very pretty!  I like the delicate blue butterfly at the bottom the best.

I gravitate to the purple green combo myself.

What is this "color planning" of which you speak?  Mine is "oh, that one looks nice, let's try it".  I finally finished one, so I'll try for a picture soon.  My daughter tells me it's better than I think it is.
