The awesome animals book is quite a lot of fun.  The animals are all kind of funky looking and the designs are far from "routine."    There is one of pigs flying that I keep wanting to do, but other stuff keeps getting pushed in front of that one.

I think I have a circus animals type one pulled out in the batch i am working through right now.

I looked at it at Michael's several times before I finally got it.  I would look at it and think it wasn't really my style, but then one day I was like screw it, I keep looking at it, I'm just getting it (they were having a sale lol).   I'm really glad I got it because it's fun.  The pages are so different I don't necessarily feel like I'm "trapped" into using "natural" colors like I do with a lot of stuff.
