I am American but I also speak French. I love the language and I'm always buying tops with French writing as well as other French themed items and designers. This is why I bought this coloring book, Secret Paris: Color Your Way to Calm, by Zoé de las Cases.

Here's the book and some examples of pages. I was also drawn to this because I love fashion! The fashion pages are my favorite, but there are also pages with different Parisian scenes. The sunglasses are still in progress.

Dress (I wish they weren't so frumpy) page was colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.

Sunglasses are in gel pens.

Even in the 1980s when I grew up, my parents' house technically had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms -- but it wasn't 'one per bedroom'. It was one ensuite in the master, one for the other bedrooms to share, and one downstairs.

I think there's an aversion, here, to having stairs as a barrier between anyone and a bathroom, so if your house is fairly vertical, the number of bathrooms can easily rival the number of bedrooms. One per floor is really normal. (And the ensuite for the master bedroom is also normal for new construction of even modest homes.)

James attended Tiffy's baby shower with his flaky Bates counterpart, Trace.

He was at both events. A pic of Tiffany and him at the graduation party was also posted.

It’s really good to have a routine like that in place! I know that as long as I don’t go out, I tend to hang out in my pjs all day, so leaving the house at least once means at some point during the day I actually get showered and dressed. 😁

I guess people are different and some people really do enjoy being around their kids all day. I can say that even though I love my son dearly, I would go crazy if all I did all day every day was taking care of and playing with him. And he’s only 3 years old and an only child.

I can’t imagine being at home with 5 kids of how-many-years-and-under all day every day. There must be so much constant noise… With 5 kids, there’s no way they all play quietly and independently at the same time. I bet there’s always at least one kid crying, needing attention, needing a drink, fighting with a sibling… and let’s face it, little kids are adorable, but they can be so annoying too, and not having an adult conversation for days or weeks while being stuck in a neverending spiral of cooking and chores and laundry can absolutely wear you down.

100% this. Just getting to have an adult conversation has to be a novelty to her- even if it's just a to a clerk at a store. I only have one small person but when he was little - I tried to leave the house every day just so I wouldn't feel trapped in the whole laundry, food prep, cleaning up after rut.
But we had a park at the end of our street. And we did go bundle up and find all the other parks in the area (even if we had to drive to them). And sometimes play was "here is a giant box of beans and a small cup" (that killed a LOT of time, honestly. Sandbox, but with beans). It's exhausting though. I forget out old unfortunately-named-Spurge is but that's a LOT of kids under his age. And five kids manage to go in 12 directions. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I live in a 2400 sqft ranch with walk-out basement. We have an ensuite in our room, a small full guest bath on the main floor, and a full bath in the basement. We were set on getting two full baths, but so much of buying a house is just what is available in your price range when you are looking to buy. I have IBS and in the first couple years of our marriage in a 1 Bathroom apartment I had a few really rough times waiting for my husband to get out of the shower!

Our house is somewhat open plan, but not HGTV style. You can see all of the living room when you walk in, but you'd have to go forward and turn to see the walk-through dining "area" and kitchen. I'm incredibly tidy, so it works for us. But I also love having the basement area where I can store some projects and let my kid play in a space that doesn't have to be all put away.

I'm pretty sure Jason was with Claire and then they stopped appearing in pictures together around the same time he started posting workout pics--fundie or not, that screams breakup to me. Wasn't James supposedly seeing someone in Australia? But maybe he got tired of 14 hour flights and is setting his sights on someone a little more local.
