Tricycle Cats/Pampered Pets

Here's my latest completed page from the Pampered Pets book.  This is unedited except for cropping and adjusting exposure/saturation/temp. for the overall photo so it matches the original page. Prismacolor Premier brush tip marker colors are:  Spanish Orange, Parma Violet, Emerald, Canary Yellow, Goldenrod, Sienna Brown, True Blue, Pink.  Copic Sketch marker colors are: Lipstick Red, Lettuce Green, Yellowish-Green, Chrome Orange, Baby Blue, Lightning Yellow. Winsor & Newton ProMarker colors are: Orchid, Ruby, Yellow, Buttercup, Turquoise, Arctic Blue, Meadow Green, Purple, Bright Green.

Not sure I remembered all the colors used, but that's most of them.   Used my little camera indoors for the photo so it's not that great...sorry.  :marker:

Just received a new book by the same author, Marjorie Sarnat, called Textile Designs. Something different and I can't wait to choose a page from it. It's got a design with sock monkeys and that's one of the main reasons I bought the book... love them!   I think her Dazzling Dogs book will be released May 18th also.   :marker:

This one is incredible, @Tikobaby!  I honestly don't know how you do it. It's gorgeous. I have quite a few of those colours and have used the Meadow and Bright Greens a lot lately. I love them separately and how they look together. You've used them beautifully here.  Really, really gorgeous page!

Amazing.  I love the orange kitties, and the one in the basket looks like a tabby!  Also, the sign "keep off the catnip" is so adorable.  Murphy would have a hard time following those instructions.

Also, I have Textile Designs saved in my Amazon wishlist, too!

Thanks so much, @Fascinated!  You always have the most thoughtful and encouraging things to say and I appreciate your posts. I really like Meadow Green too. Am really liking my Copic Yellowish-Green too...such a pretty color. I really  like the milk bottle and straws in this page.  :my_shy:

I don't have Yellowish-Green (I didn't think I did but I just checked my stash and, sadly, nope), so will keep a lookout for it. I really like it in your picture.  The milk bottle and straws are perfect but...everything else is too!

And thank YOU for those kind words.

Thanks, @RabbitKM!   I love the kitties too and gave them the same color eyes so they look more like a mom and kitten.  I like the sign too. The tricycle is what really caught my eye at first...just had to color it!   The Textile Designs book has a lot of cool stuff  in it and I think after I finish the Pampered Pets page I'm working on now, I'll be choosing my next page from TD.   :my_shy:

Excellent job! I love those green hues. :)

The more I look at these, the more I am getting pen envy. :pb_lol: I'm still using colored pencils up in here and haven't yet placed an order for markers, which I really need to remedy, stat.

Thank you, @EyeQueue!  Glad you like it.  I love the vivid richness of markers...don't want to color with anything else!  Grab yourself some markers and give it a whirl!  :marker:

I love the brightness of this picture.  Awesome job. And I'm in love with the names of the colours. Makes me want to buy a set which I'm sure is the exact intention of the folks who chose those names.

Speaking of more markers. Remember I mentioned I ordered some from W&N website?  That was a week ago yesterday. I paid $25 for two-day shipping!!!!1!!!  I received a confirmation email but still haven't received a shipping one. When I check my account it still says 'sent to warehouse for packing', or similar.  I can't believe it. I've emailed them and they will 'investigate' and 'get back to me'. I will be requesting that $25 back. Plus, I'm going away for a few days on Wednesday and will not be here to receive delivery, should that happen.

By the way, 'Mandarin' WAS the colour I ran out of mid-picture. However, I still do not need three. Anyway.  I'm kinda pissed.  Last order was smooth and efficient.

Sounds like someone dropped the ball with your order.  I've ordered markers online from Amazon, Blick, and Michael's with no problem. Hope you can get it sorted out and for sure you shouldn't have to pay that two day shipping charge.

Thanks, @Curious!  Really glad you like this page.  I just finished the page I set aside months ago more than half finished. Your recent posts here inspired me to dig it out and get it done!  Thanks for that.

But where do they wash their hands after taking money and before handing over open, unwrapped food? How does the department of health track down who donated the Salmonella pie, if they aren't required to keep a list of who donated what product? How do the volunteers keep the open and unwrapped food from being contaminated by nonfood materials if it's just sitting on a table in a gym or in a parking lot.

Any I have been to in Germany and New Zealand had one person handling the cash and other people serving. Plus power and hand washing facilities. Usually with a few tables and chairs right next to the sale area to sit and eat immediately.
Plus all the ones in Germany I saw had display cabinets for the products like in cafes. I think the ones in NZ usually had insect shields and/or see through lids and weren’t right at the front edge of the table.

They have a “champagne lifestyle” on OTHER peoples “beer budget”

“Champagne wants” is probably a better word than lifestyle, though the fact that they demand it and insist on being entitled to it makes it more than a want in my eyes. 🤷‍♀️

Thankfully they've decided not to sell baked goods. Apparently because someone told them how they needed a cottage food license and also because they don't know if they would be able to make all the pies.

It couldn't possibly be because people have figured out that they are do nothing, perpetually whining grifters.  Oh no, not them.
