Not me, but my mum is a leap year baby. She's now 18.

My husband was due on Leap Day, but he came early. He always tells everyone his Leap age and then tells them that he missed being born on Leap Day by this much!* (holds up fingers to show a small space)

*Actually a few weeks.

Happy Birthday to any 5 to 25 year olds out there!

If I hadn't been so impatient I might have been.  Mom thought I was going to be because she went into labor in the evening.  But being perpetually early (on time is late, you know) I came before midnight.   (I as due on March 1)

I was two weeks late - they were going to induce the next day if I hadn't shown up so I dragged my ass out just before midnight - barely making the deadline.

I timed my birth with one of the biggest snow storms in our area's history and it took them forever to drive the 3 miles to the hospital and my dad was in mortal fear she'd have me in the car.

Clearly I've been super convenient from the start.

I believe my father got lost on the way to the hospital.

My youngest cousin was due I want to say around Feb 25 or so about 15 years ago.  I jokingly said - Hey wait until the 28th.  She said no.  Her oldest held on until sometime after the beginning of March to arrive.  (should have said, hey 28th is perfect!).

Family lore has it that my grandmother - who had all 9 at home - was told by her doctor 'the least you could do is wait for me to show up before you have them'

It's also possible Joy was there and requested not to be photographed.

But Josiah's family was seen, including little Ezra.

I think that the explanation of the camping trip sounds more plausible.

I’m the same age as Braggie and I was so glad to be over the baby toddler stage. Her girl twins are the same age as my older son and her son Theo is the same age as my younger son. And she’s had 4 kids since having this kids. I would be so miserable and phoning everything in. If I had 4 more kids. I’m so glad I can focus on my 2 kids and enjoy parenting them.

I always knew I wanted only one child. I've been a teacher forever and the only work break I had in 42 years was the three months of maternity leave when she was born. But, luckily, I was able to spend every summer at home with her and when she started school our schedules were very similar and we had the same school vacations.

For me that was perfect. One child was enough because my job has always been demanding from late August to June, and I know my limits. My husband works full time too and was always unusually involved in her life. Even with his considerable help I still was only able to really focus on just one. It's all so individual. But more than two kids? No way. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. My daughter and I are great friends (not in the Jill way - ewww) now that she's in her 20's and on her own.

I keep meaning to post something about Tennessee Brando here - every time I watch one of his videos, I think of Bro Gary and his buddies, because, while his accent is different, he uses a lot of the same southernisms as Gary. It's like he's redeeming the whole southeastern US for me (he's a progressive Democrat who talks about politics).

This video seemed especially apt - it's his take on the evangelical pastor who came out against the Trump bible.

      Spoiler

There's so much the pastor says, and so much about his style, that would be right up Gary's alley. But he's Pentecostal, his church is large, and it looks like they do the worship music stuff that Gary hates - no smokestacks, though.

Now, if Pastor Baker came out against Trump and his bible, that would blow Gary's mind.

Per story on Kress's IG, Rachel Morton had her baby. Born the same day as Issa.

Could Kress be talking about Addie or Francesca’s baby being born on Isa’s birthday? The baby (boy?) on Rachel’s lap looks bigger than newborn. Maybe it was born at the start of April?
