This is the first page I've done from the Incredible Insects book by Creative Haven.  I chose a less complicated design to give my eyes a rest, but it was still fun and I like the way it turned out.  Have also finished one from my new Curious Creatures book and am working on another one from it right now. It's become my second favorite coloring book after Creative Cats.   :my_shy:  :marker:

Beetle page colored with Prismas, Copics, and Winsor & Newton ProMarkers.

I seem to have missed this one, @Tikobaby!  It is, as usual, gorgeous.  I don't think I've seen the Insects book. I love the colours in this. Pinks and blues are my favourites. The beetle is stunning and I love the little bees. (I think they are bees?). Beautiful!!

Thanks!  Glad you like it.  :my_shy:   The insect book has some very intricate designs, but I picked this easier one to start out with.  The main colors on the beetle are Prisma Mulberry and Light Mulberry. Background is Prisma Spanish Orange. Border is Copic Light Hydrangea. Main flowers are W&N Ruby and Prisma Red with a hint of W&N Orchid and Prisma Parma Violet (another favorite!).  I think the little flying insects are some kind of imaginary bee!

Beautiful.  I have that book, but haven't done any pages out of it yet.

I really like the little flying whatever they ares.

      That has to hit a new low, even for Karissa. According to earlier posts, this was Mandrae’s choice. If so, he’s every bit as crazy as his wife.

      I think part of the reason is the rest of kids have An- names, except for Armor.  It makes sense they would add another Ar- name to their quiver.

      Forty- eight! courses!  How did they complete 48 courses in less than 2 years? How long is a course? What kind of work is required to complete one? How many courses did they take at once?  I have more questions, but I'm not going to enroll.

      Lol. Her name is Theresa and she said she would nickname her Tissi. Which is only a little bit better. She never said she would call Theresa “Tess.”
