Affirmations (2 pages)

2 pages from the Louise Hay Affirmations Coloring book.  Cousin K turned me onto Louise Hay.  I follow her on Facebook.  I have a book of hers on the spiritual/energy/mental causes behind illnesses and pain.  I explain this because I ordered the book knowing this.   it is a combination of floral or mandala like coloring paes and affirmations.   Thick book.  High Quality paper.  That is printed on both sides.

I did the first page in a combo of shapries and flairs.  The second shot is of the back of that page (with a non coloring page back).  This is probably the only page that I'll use any markers on to avoid bleed through.  The final page is a flower that due to the petal shape and season said Poinsettia.   That final page is Craz Art colored pencils.  (by the way at the grocery store today I found a pack of CraZ art neon pencils that I snatched up).

Both pages are really nice.   I really like how you've done the flower.

I hate the double sided pages because many of my favorite markers bleed through.   I do use gel pens on the double sided pages, which is ok.   I don't like being hindered by worrying about bleed through.

I haven't seen crazy art neon pencils.  I have to add that to my list of things I'm searching for.

The official name is "Super Bright" for the CraZ Art I referred to as neon.

Thanks!

I got the crayola "extreme" set which is their neon set, but I'm not very fond of them.  Unless you press REALLY hard, they are so light you can't even really see them :(

I'm a big fan of CraZ Art stuff, so hoping that set is better.

Any bets on whether the baby will be going home from the hospital in a penguin onesie?

Oh penguin that thing is ugly. Someone in their circle should crochet them a cute one. Here's another option for when the child is a smidge older; it even includes a bow so you can distinguish that she's a penguinette.

Yes. There are always reasons for if it didn't work out. The people involved are blamed as the problem not the cult-like teaching.

It's weird how it's never the ideology that is flawed or incorrect.  No, it's definitely that people are doing it wrong, because if they were doing it right, it would work.

(I still feel bad for Kelly, frankly.)

Katie (Bates) and Travis Clark are having a boy. They uploaded the gender reveal.

After so many girls, the Bates have been on a major boy streak.

I feel like maybe it's a regional thing, more than religious. My Appalachian relatives who don't darken the door of a church outside weddings or funerals also adorn baby girls with giant bows. Most recent baby girl born has bows around 4 times the size of her head in most photos.

Yeah, it's a big thing in Hawaii/Alaska too, and I don't think it has anything to do with religion or Jesus.
