Sharing a couple while I wait on calculating files

Not projects done while the files calcuated.  Just me sharing them.  Both from my 'work' coloring book.

the first is in twistable.  And while this looks symettrical - the top right and lower left do not match.  which made me a tad twitchy.

This one is with my crayola pipsqueaks.  It's a tad messy in places.  But that's okay.  (by the way that darker 'red' is labeled Salmon and the lighter color is a 'melon.'  go figure)

I like both of these.  I like the purples/greens together.   I enjoy seeing what color combos people use because I tend to use the same combos over and over.  It gives me ideas to try.

Don't even get me started on the naming convention of some of the products.    I was forcing my husband to pick what color I was using yesterday when we were out (I'm going to get him coloring if it kills me!) and he would ask for a color and I'd show him the options and he was like, but that's not even x color.  I'm like I know, but look at the label.  I had to make a little scribble on them for him to believe me ;)

I have a 'thing' about pink/green/purple combos.

Here's are a couple of  early ones of mine (free page I found on pinterest, the dreaded twistables).

This type of thing is one of the things that makes me think I have OCD- I've been temped to use white out and re-draw pages so they would be symmetrical.

I really like the color combos you use.  Both the new ones you added in the comment are really pretty.

You're inspiring me to use more green.  I've avoided it because grassy green is my least favorite shade, and I think I've transferred distaste for it to all greens.  But these are so lovely I think I'm going to deliberately choose a page that will urge me to try more greens.  I'd never have thought of green and purple together, but I love your pages!

Any bets on whether the baby will be going home from the hospital in a penguin onesie?

Oh penguin that thing is ugly. Someone in their circle should crochet them a cute one. Here's another option for when the child is a smidge older; it even includes a bow so you can distinguish that she's a penguinette.

Yes. There are always reasons for if it didn't work out. The people involved are blamed as the problem not the cult-like teaching.

It's weird how it's never the ideology that is flawed or incorrect.  No, it's definitely that people are doing it wrong, because if they were doing it right, it would work.

(I still feel bad for Kelly, frankly.)

Katie (Bates) and Travis Clark are having a boy. They uploaded the gender reveal.

After so many girls, the Bates have been on a major boy streak.

I feel like maybe it's a regional thing, more than religious. My Appalachian relatives who don't darken the door of a church outside weddings or funerals also adorn baby girls with giant bows. Most recent baby girl born has bows around 4 times the size of her head in most photos.

Yeah, it's a big thing in Hawaii/Alaska too, and I don't think it has anything to do with religion or Jesus.
