I've devoted quite some time to this beautiful cat. (I purchased Tropical World by Millie Marotta and I love it).  I knew as I was doing his face that I was going to have a problem with the inside of his ears. So I thought, ok, just do them now in case it's a disaster. Well, it's a disaster.  Now, I think they might not looktoo bad in the photo but if you zoom in you'll see it. What do I do?  I've already tried to fix it but probably made it worse.  Any ideas?  I don't want to spend many more hours on him if he's not salvageable. And, let's face it, the rest of him so far is pretty gorgeous, IMHO.

I think the ears look ok.  If you have either a white pen or a blender pen or maybe even a blender colored pencil, you might try running that over the dark grey? in the center of the ears.   I don't think it's a bad color necessarily, but a little dark with the rest of the kitty so far.

I am boring and tend to make ear insides pink, so I like that you have gone a different route.

The cat is gorgeous.  I am definitely going to break down and order those books.   I gave my husband the task of cutting all the pages out of my non-perforated books when he's sitting around watching tv or whatever, so I can pick them if I want to.   I have an accordion folder that I use for loose pages (like stuff I've printed etc.)

Oh wow! That's gorgeous! Love around the eyes. No clue what to do about the ears... way over my head!

Oh, crap, @Curious.  I have none of those items!  Does Michaels carry those types of blending tools?  I haven't seen them there. But, yes, I think that's what I should do. Thanks for the advice!

I have gotten blender pencils at Michaels.  I've never looked for blender pens there, tbh.   I have a couple blender pens.  I got one from blick when I did my big order and one came with some pack of Sakura pens I bought.

I've never actually tried the pens, but I use a blender pencil regularly.   If you have a white marker or colored pencil you might be able to lighten the ears just by running the white over it a bit.   Or even a lighter shade of pen in some other color.   My first instinct is to try white, though.

Maybe a very light grey would work, as well.

I like it!  It kind of looks like his ears are turned, listening to something.  I think you should just continue coloring the rest of him. Then again, I know nothing about coloring. But awesome cat!

Well, here he is, finished.  Not a good photo etc.  His ears are still not great and it was a lot of work. I'm just glad it's over.  I brought him in on fumes.  My good pens are empty so I had to use my crap ones. They are anything but smooth.

Or she's pretending to be a born again virgin for social media (and her parents) while they've been making the beast with two backs for months.

And it was $803, right? For 10 kids and probably the parents as well! At 4 meals out, including two desserts, and a movie (I'm not counting their gifts/toys because they were Dollar store crap) $67 per head is cheap. 80 if the parents' expenses weren't included or the two youngest weren't getting anything.

She thinks it’s a brag. Like look at all this money we spent on the kids! But that’s not much per child. Most people in the US spend more than that per child at Christmas. Karissa doesn’t understand that she doesn’t spend much money or time on EACH child. She’s like wow! 800 bucks! That would be a ton of money spent in my family of four for a yes weekend. But for 12 people? Nope. Having child after child means each child gets less. That’s all there is to it. That’s basic elementary school math.

As per usual with Karissa, she talks about how much it cost and how they are normally good stewards of their money.

Today we have Eric at Shoshanna's house, yet again working on home improvements. Guess she's still stringing him along despite her poem about not falling in love with the new man in her life. Maybe for her it's all about making a statement to James, who she's insinuated wasn't handy with home improvements. It seems to me like a twisted relationship either way.
