This is a combination of fluorescent and metallic gel pens (all Sargent). I like this a lot. I don't know whether I should risk ruining it by filling in the grass. Thoughts?  (That was a lot of tiny pebbles!)

Wow!  That is really beautiful. I love the colors. Especially like the contrasting greens in the bush by the well and the violet-blue bell shaped blooms near it. All the colors really pop...great choices!  All those little pebbles in a variety of colors must have taken awhile. I can't make up my mind as to whether filling in the grass would be better or not. Really like it the way it is.

Hmm. Thank you for your positive comments!  It looks like it needs grass, but I don't know where I would end the grass even. Oh, boy. Colouring is hard!

I've noticed in some pictures I've colored that the artist left out lines so it's hard to know what color should go in certain areas.  I've put lines in myself!  Coloring can be a challenge for sure.

This is gorgeous :)    I love how you did the gravel/pebbles.   I'm not sure it needs filled in, but the thing that draws my eye is the white space around the flowers at the bottom/in the pebble area.   I'm not sure I'd use green there, though.   maybe a brownish/ground color?

Yes, those areas are definitely a problem. I think I will try a ground colour like you suggest, @Curious because, I agree, green will not look good there.

Here's the updated picture. I filled in around the pebbles and tried to do a suggestion of grass :my_dodgy:.  Under close scrutiny, it's a bit messy, but, overall, I think it looks much better. Thanks for your help!  On to the next one....

oh that change really improves it, IMO.   Those white spaces around the flowers were very distracting, IMO.  Now it looks great!

I bet we'll find out one day, if they're still in the public eye and it's at all salacious.  I still doubt it could be the racism thing since that hadn't stopped them before.  It might not be for several more years, though.

If it's salacious enough, it will put them back in the public eye.

I wonder if the more funny posts are because he's not always focused on the preaching grift and has some (gasp) downtime from his day job. Then of course his guilt cell fires up so he has to post about damnation.

I have no evidence to support this, but I've wondered if the larger anonymous donations are from family members who just can't give up on them because - - family.

I had the same thought, maybe an aunt or uncle or grandparent? The only sibling who might have that kind of money would be the one with the ice bath instagram, and I don't think they have sponsorships, but they do have a STR business. But I think that was the first brother to throw Art under the bus for speaking out.

I guess I don't know what the two older sisters do, either.

I know much of this comes from being a salty military wife who's literally not had a single date with her husband in 8 years but I'm just tired of women acting like they have all their shit together but failing to mention how much of their shit their families or paid labor are doing for them.

It amuses me at times when these women are so oblivious to how many advantages they have and start talking about how they overcame their hardships. Sure Jan, you overcame all odds.

I've been homeschooling for years and I love to see how other families do it. Of course most families who homeschool are religious. Not all fundie level but fundie-light; many kids, raw milk, anti vaccine etc.

I have been watching rooted in rest for years and I used to love her channel but she seems so out of touch now. She doesn't share the details of her life but goes on and on about being such a busy dance/karate family, vacation home in the mountains, international trips her parents pay for and her weekly date nights. Well, yes, those things are "easy" with five kids when you have multiple family members driving your kids around for you. You have free babysitters weekly. Your dad takes your toddler once a week now so you can focus on your other kids. Your husband and father are clearly well off and you don't have to worry about finances.

Her video today opened with "my husband said no more books so I guess I'll do an usborne party to pay for them" like, damn, you really want me to buy your overpriced books now too just so your kids can get new science kits?

If this woman bothers you, don’t ever go to the m is for mama thread. She’s insufferable, overprivileged, and completely out of touch.
