Primary Mandala - In three stages

Fascinated

My intent was to do this in red and blue, leaving the white page as the third 'colour'.

Then I thought, what the hell, let's add a pop of yellow.

And, in the end, I found I couldn't leave the interior background white after all.

I struggled a bit trying to colour in such small areas. There are 315 tiny 'spokes' (yes, I counted) and I despised each and every one, and got a little sloppy just trying to get them finished. The whole thing is a bit messy as I had trouble staying inside the lines. But I actually love all three stages of this. I'm not even sure which I like best.

lol  I just sat there staring at the first image for a while going...I don't see any yellow.  My eyes are bad, even with my new glasses so I was thinking maybe it's just really light yellow so doesn't show up like how some of my colors show too light to see on the screen.

Then I realized there were 2 other images :my_blush:

I like it in all 3 versions, but I think I like the all filled in one the best.

Yes, well, this colouring does not help with the eye issues, does it?  I wear reading glasses (just crap drugstore ones) and my eyes are feeling SEVERELY strained at this point!  It is worth it, though, and there's a nice feeling of accomplishment, too.

(I wanted to insert the text between the images but I'll be damned if I can figure out how.  There's no 'place inline' thingy and my ferocious stylus-tapping in various locations were to no avail. Maybe it would be easier on my Mac.)

I just did the same thing! :pb_lol:

I wonder if whoever is offering to "help" Ryann and Art is aware of their grifting lifestyle.  I can see offering to assist a family member in crisis, helping them get back on their feet, navigate doctor's visits, apply for benefits, find a JOB, etc.  I doubt they are signing up to support these two and their pets for life.  Perhaps this kind person can help them see the way to a productive and less dependent life, but they are just so convinced of their own entitlement.  Gonna be interesting, and I suspect there will eventually be a reckoning.

I for one don’t think this anonymous donor/supporter exists. I think they know others are more likely to give if there’s someone else validating the cause. Same goes for all those “one of my supporters has offered to MATCH all donations until X  time” posts that crop up occasionally.

Seattle has an a large LGBTQ leftist/ activist scene. It’s odd to me that they don’t seem involved at all in local activism given how vocal they are online about injustice. They  really need a community that’s NOT just a tumblr-esque echo chamber and codependent partners.

It's all for a new begging opportunity.  They'll be asking to have everything replaced with either outrageously priced or allegedly luxury level items.

It's a some kids like them, some kids tolerate them, and some hate them.  My grandkids liked hats and still do. I did, however, teach the granddaugter to pull off hairbows and barrettes that some relatives insisted on buying.

How do people get hats and bows to stay on babies' heads? Anything I put on my baby's head, a hat, sun hat, sunglasses, bows etc just gets pulled off immediately.

You have to hat and bow train. If they pull it off, you smack them. /s

My kids didn't tolerate stuff on their heads either.
