Thorsday Activities!

I figured out how to brighten the video in YouTube!  I'm learning!

It's still a bit dark but you can see his climbing abilities.  He's finally getting the concept of lapping, not sucking, at the milk.  Hopefully we'll have a mostly weaned kitten by the time Little Hooman and I start back to school in a week or two.  He runs. He jumps. He climbs. He bitches at me when I don't pick him up in the kitchen!  He's a fuzzy little love bug that lets me rock him to sleep.  Yesterday's weight:  15.6 ounces!!!  Almost a pound!

Mountain puma kitteh!  But you guys can take him along to school---bet the instructor and classmates would be happy to assist in cat-raising activities.

Nearly a pound?  At one month plus, when he was a bitty scrap of kitten?  Go, Thor, GO!!!

We've got weaned kitteh!!! Thanks so much to Little Hooman's patience. She has been a Goddess Bastet send since she's been home.

This is the bowl we mix his food in, she said he walked right up to it & went to work.  He'll get his own shallow bowl this evening.

@Mela99 I know right?!   When I saw him climbing last night, that was my "not my baby!" moment.....

He's still wee sized so it sort of makes up for it.................sort of................  :kitty: :my_biggrin:

Is he starting to teethe yet? When do you expect to start him on dry kibble or crunching and working those Fierso Tiger Teeth through the gums?

a POUND????? Good grief!!! That's one eating and growing kitteh there! He's climbing like he's been doing it all his life. Such a sweet little boy...such a lovebug.

GO Thor! Be strong and mighty!

Love the E name discussion. My daughter is an E name. Four friends who had kids around the same time all have a girl with an E name. Definitely lots of options.

To me, young marriage is usually about two young people who want to have sex but their religion tells them they can’t. So they get married. It’s too bad. There’s nothing wrong with premarital sex between two consenting adults.

It’s too bad the Duggars didn’t go with an E name. They would have had many more choices of names that didn’t sound so much alike. Example Joy Anna, Johannah, and Jana.

Edith, Evangeline, Elaine, Ethel, Evonne, Enola, Esme, Elmira, Eileen, and Eudora. Ethan, Emanuel, Edward, Everett, Easton, Errol, Earnest, Erasmus, Ezekiel, and Ellis.

I’d add Ebony to the list, but the Kellers really can’t go with that one unless they actually adopt.

Well, we know what Mike said when James & Shoshanna married in 2004 & he seemed to think James was great then. Typically, neither Mike nor Debi has ever acknowledged Shoshanna's or Gabe's divorces, although they have been backpedaling on some of their hardline stuff in recent NGJ articles.

Shoshanna's IG reel is so garbled it's hard to understand but she seems to be saying that, essentially, her divorce was good because she wanted it. This comports with the primary rule of the Pearls' teachings: Do as we say and not as we do.

Re: Jeremiah's engagement. Not surprising and also not surprising that Shoshanna seems to have memory-holed all of her advice about not getting married too young.

Jeremiah's cousin, Shalom Brand's oldest, Janelle, got married at 17 in 2022. It's what these people do.

Whoa. Since spouses now have rights, I give it 6 months to a year for a public change in the Pearl's divorce theology.
