Vet Visit no. 2
Took the wee one in to see about treatment for either worms or possible blockage. He was a little trooper and got snuggled in the waiting room. He weighed in at 7.5 oz. Doc took his temperature (not a happy kitty) and told me he's still too tiny and too underdeveloped to handle any kind of vaccination or medicine. He didn't give him an enema for similar reasons: too small, too much of a risk of causing the opposite effect and dehydrating him again. Doc did take a look at the ick that was on the thermometer, seemed satisfied. He didn't mention worms or parasites. And the presence of ick on the thermometer is a good thing, it means no blockage up in his belly tract.
So advice for now: Get a warm, wet cloth and rub him all over his belly and rear area. Add a pinch of sugar to his diet so his body can do the job on it's own. Home we went, a warm cat bath he got, and a belly full of freshlymixed milk with a pinch of sugar. He went straight to sleep in his condo.
Today's candid is him in the truck snoozing on the way. Moms big rumbly moving box kind of lulls him, he likes to ride around.
