'Animal Kingdom' bird (at dusk)

So, when will I learn that dark Copics do not have a fine enough point for the background in this type of design (with many sharp corners)?  This background is Prussian Blue.  I also hate the green and orange combo on the bird's breast.  I did him in gel pens and the rest is mostly W&N markers.  Overall, I like it. Just don't look too closely!  It really is quite a mess up close!

Why do you hate the orange/green on the bird? I think it looks pretty good and I like that textured look on its breast and the top of its head too.  Like the watered silk look of your background also...that's a gorgeous color and your bird really pops out in front of it.  I really like this page!  :marker:

I'm glad you think it's a nice page, @Tikobaby. I think the orange/green feathers just look kind of ugly, I suppose.  I find him somewhat disjointed, colourwise.  Oh well.  He seems happy enough.

He's a pretty little bird so he should be happy!    :bird:

Love the bird and how shimmery he looks, he just jumps off the page with the darker background. Great page.

I like the green and orange.  And I love the color of the background.

I love the colour of the bird and the contrast between him and the rest of the picture.

I like how it goes from light at the top to dark at the bottom, the bird is cute :)

I like the orange/green on the bird breast and the pastel look of the leaves.  I think the background looks fine as well.  I didn't see any obvious errors.  We are always our own worst critics.

I think Braggie refuses to pay for college, does not encourage college which in turn lets the children know exactly what’s expected of them.

Once Braggie put a stop to brick-and-mortar college (even a local college would have him out of the house for several hours a day),

Did she actually post she forbid Ezra to go to college?  I don't recall seeing this.

My hope is that Ezra will go on his own (run Ezra run), because he realizes he needs a degree to be taken seriously as an IT professional.

My concern for him is that if it's merely apprenticeship/ working with Shaun that Ezra goes from BroDad to Breadwinner#2. Still stuck at home, still carrying the parenting load, but now it's supporting the family.

There is absolutely no way Braggie would let him keep any of the money he earns. Not when there's Anthro on sale.

I see Ezra's actions quite differently. I think he is 100% dutiful child and following along with exactly what his parents want. I see zero evidence of him rebelling or even noticing that he is limited. I doubt he even looked at going to college. Until he truly wants something that his parents won't allow or gets more time out of his bubble, he looks ready to follow exactly what Abbie plans for him.

For Simon, we see him less with the little kids than Ezra. Abbie sometimes talks about his cooking, but it's been ages since they did a dance video and she doesn't feature Simon very often. He's only 15, right? so he still has a little bit to go before we will find out what's next for him.

The way she's phrased it is she's teaching her how to run a house, at an age where most are learning to dress themselves. I really hope it is poor phrasing.

Lots of children want to help mommy and daddy around the house and kids learn by imitating other people.

The way Allison is phrasing it (especially the „adding ingredients without spilling“) seems more like introducing chores at a very young age because otherwise those big families don’t work when kids are homeschooled.

I can’t believe I forgot the Duggars! Of course there is Joshua James and then many kids later they had a James.
