I am loving my new book and wish I had got it sooner, I have done 3 pages from it already but don't want to saturate the blog too much! I used my Winsor & Newton ProMarkers again, I put the colours I used at the bottom of the pic.

Thanks @clueliss . I will post the third one tomorrow after I get a good photo of it, the ones I took today didn't show the colours in the best light.

Nice. I've never considered doing all one colour before - I'll have to try it out. Mandalas can be addictive!

I'm glad you are enjoying  your new book.  I think the mandalas are fun.  If you are looking for another mandala book at some point, I recommend groovy mandalas.  It's got a lot of different kinds of designs that I haven't really seen in other books.  If you like animals, I recommend nature mandalas, as well.

I like the monotone type pictures a lot.

I recognize most of the colors you have used here.  I really like the salmon pink.  I am using that one on a pic I am doing currently.  I don't have the baby pink one, but I think it's one I will have to add to my list.

@Tikobaby speaking of pinks, I have the light mulberry and I think you are right about it being the one you used.  After it dries it's a very nice light pink.   Just looking at it, I thought no way, but the next day when it was completely dry I was surprised how much it lightened up.

@Curious, it looks good to use the regular mulberry and the light mulberry together to set each other off too.   Your recent posts galvanized me today  to work on the page I set aside several months back and I'm almost finished with it since it was close to being completed back then.   :my_shy:     :marker:

I don't have the regular mulberry, so need to put that one on my wishlist.  I do have rhodamine in both light and regular, so used those on the page I'm working on instead to get the contrast.

Only 3 pages of posts to catch up on now!

I have about 4 pages that are in various stages of done.  I hate not finishing one before starting the next, but I just lost of feel for some of the ones I was working on in the SNF.  I' going back and trying to finish them up in between new ones.

I can’t believe I forgot the Duggars! Of course there is Joshua James and then many kids later they had a James.

Some fundie families reuse names. They also have a son named Edgar Ashburn. And then have a younger son named Ashburn. Chris Maxwell reused a name on his daughters. His older daughter is Ruthann Elizabeth and his younger daughter is Elizabeth Grace. The Campanas did this as well. They have a son Nicholas Frank and then another son named Frankie. They also have multiple daughters with a version of Mary in their name. They have Mariah, Gabriella Mary, and Gracia Marie. I think fundies run out of ideas and just reuse names they like.

Now now, don't do Chris and NR Anna dirty like that. They pray for weeks and schedule a 30 min block to deeply discuss those names! If they reuse a name, it's because God wanted them too 😛

Gary seem to enjoy going around to churches who have lost their pastor and doing a drop-in preaching.  He never offers to take the job himself.  Is it just too much like real work?  I figure that the pay isn't great either and Gary has no intention of working a real job so he can also keep up a church.  He's in a bind.  All he wants to do is be a traveling evangelist and that just isn't working out for him.  He talks a lot about leading people to God but, when the chips are down, Gary's not going to step out of his comfort zone to spread the word.

Still can't get over the fact that we can now say the Arndt WOMEN, plural. Who would have thought we'd see the day.

For someone who despises dancing, Gary seems to do a lot of quasi-dancing during his sermons. That picture with his arms outstretched bears a strong resemblance to Tevye in a community theater production of Fiddler on the Roof. I wouldn't be surprised if he burst into a rousing chorus of "Tradition!"

A lot of his moves look like he's playing Tevya. I see a bit of "One" from A Chorus Line now and then - imagine if he had a top hat to play with! And sometimes it's just:
