So why not post my latest creation! I just finished this one up last night.  I've been ridiculously busy the past week or two, which is why I haven't had time to color.  But last night, I put on The Bachelor, and finished this page and got a start on another page! :)

This is from Enchanted Forest, using my prismacolor scholar pencils.IMG_9103.thumb.jpg.3300b8b6d32cad18503d0

anything I try to color with pencils ends up looking washed out.

I feel like I have the same problem sometimes!  I like coloring with the pencils, but I love the look of the pictures I've seen posted here that are colored with marker!  I don't have markers, though. :(

Yeah, but that would take effort.  Ugh!

No, in seriousness, I've considered (am considering?) it.  I just haven't got around to figuring out the cost and the best type of marker to buy.  I'm weird about spending money on things that are just for me and just for fun.  I am also intimidated by coloring with markers... it seems like it would be hard to color the tiny spaces with markers!

The sad face was a little over the top though. :P

Thanks! It really must be the Prismacolor, though, because my skills are mediocre at best :)

@clueliss they're really nice.  I was using plain pencils before this, like Crayola, and these are much more smooth and creamy and easier to color with.

@OnceUponATime I don't have a pencil called that, but I was using the Prismacolor pencil called neon yellow.  I also have chartreuse which is somewhat similar.

Please do! I am excited to see someone else's take on it, since I challenged myself to stay within a certain color scheme, and I would love to see what colors you choose.

Don't know how much you want to spend, but Prismacolor Premier, Copic Sketch, and Winsor & Newton ProMarkers are all very good.  You can color in small spaces with them. Also, the Staedtler triplus fineliner markers are very good for narrow/small spaces.  :marker:

I like the Prismacolor double-ended brush markers, not the chisel tips, by the way.  :my_shy:

I have Prismacolor pencils, and your work is much better than mine, so you need to take credit for major talent.

Aww, thank you!  I would love to see your work though! Have you thought about joining the blog so you can post?

This is beautiful.  I love the purples you used.

I saw that scholar pack at Michael's recently.  Now I wish I had picked it up.

2 bathrooms works for us as a family of 4. But if we had more kids, I would probably want another toilet somewhere.

I am pretty sure that that is the exact same fridge, or a very similar fridge, to the one my sibling and their spouse put in when they built their new house three years ago. It's fine except that the water that comes out isn't as cold as I prefer my water to be.

I don't Love or hate open plan homes. They are very convenient for someone like my mother, who can't hear you calling from another room but who can tell that you're talking from across the room and use her lipreading/face reading skills to fill in what she doesn't hear. (she has a hearing loss.) My sibling has one and it's convenient when they are cooking because they can keep an eye on the kids. But they also have a playroom that is not part of the open plan, which I think is essential so that you are not continually stepping on Legos.

And I tend to think that people with three or more bathrooms are not cleaning their own bathrooms. Myself absolutely love having my own bathroom but then again I live alone. I think that having IBS and sharing a bathroom would be very difficult to do.

I was born with dark hair. Fell out, came back white blonde. Have been going darker ever since. It’s ash blonde (street dog blonde….) now. Which- as the internet tells me, is no considered „old money blonde“ (🤪🙄). Maybe that’s how we see it when I have finally grown out the dark brown I had dyed it…..

They could have moved closer to Ryann’s family last summer instead of moving to Seattle…that would have saved them their donors several thousands…but it’s not money they had to earn so they don’t care. Every decision they make is very reactive as opposed to proactive. They rarely think of the consequences.

I really hate the fancy appliances that companies put out these days. Like the fridges with a touch screen on it. Like why does my fridge need a touch screen? Wtf?
