Quidditch pitch cross stitch - Complete! (Phase 1)

I finally finished the Quidditch pitch cross stitch I've been working on. I finally got to the store to get the color I needed yesterday. I started working on a second one so both my friend and I can have one, and that ones going a lot faster (though still takes forever) sicne I've done it before and am more familiar with the pattern.

Next I'm going to turn this into a pillow. I'm getting sewing machine lessons from my mom.

Yay, a fellow cross stitcher! My husband can't understand the draw of such a tedious, time intensive hobby...but I love it!

It turned out great!  I love the little golden snitch :)   I hope you show us the finished pillow by the time I've gotten caught up.

      Jill was parentified and forced to provide parental like care for Joy. That adds a level of complexity to everything.

      I feel so bad for her kids. She shouldn’t be putting this on her children’s shoulders. What if she had miscarried? Would he then blame himself? We know she blames the kids every time they get sick. She tells them it’s due to sinning. So if she had miscarried, would he blame himself? Those poor kids.

      Yep. And it’s not actually true either. We know they hired out plenty of stuff. If she actually made a list of the stuff they hired out, it would be long.

      I don't think her mind goes to functionality because she's not using that space for much. She's all pretty! Shiny!! NEW!!

      I would be getting that looked into (ie seeing a continence nurse), that's unusually late to be still in diapers, particularly with older siblings. If she can't see that that is a problem it's a bit of a worry.
