This is so pathetic and I hope they run all of the officials out of town for this one. Freedom of religion anymore means you can do anything you want and get away with it.

It's about time. I can't understand why they haven't taken WJ's telephone privileges away as he is still running the FLDS (and, by extension, the twin towns) from jail via phone.

Things have become much tougher for citizens since his incarceration. Church "levies" have become extremely onerous and rules have become batshit crazy, including a ban on toys and pets.

I understand that the lawsuit seeks to ensure fair treatment for those who have been excommunicated and non-FLDS members, but it would be nice to see fair treatment for women and children currently in the sect who see no way out.

Wonder what happened to the eleven (or more, in the FLDS cult) wives whose men were hauled off to the slammer? Did Jeffs likely marry them off to other men? And I suppose at this point, LE will broach the FLDS women when they get a handle on the non-members.
