These people are linked quite frequently to the Yoder family (yoderfarm.blogspot.com) and one of their daughters is dating a Yoder son.

They went to the ATI conference thingee at Big Sandy recently and have the requisite gazillion photos up including one towards the bottom of the post with the Bates family singing onstage.

The story was basically an early Duggar episode (or maybe special) where the exact same thing happens.

Aren't the Yoders Amish? Do they allow their children to do that? Or are they some kind of wacky ATI-Amish hybrid?

I don't think they're Amish exactly, maybe wannabes, or some more liberal off shoot. They don't "dress Amish" if you know what I mean.

I can't imagine how boring it must be to go to the same conference every year, seeing the same people, hearing the same bullshit year after year. The older kids must be bored out of their trees.
