I don't want this day to end. Thanks, Joe, for keeping it calm, sane, and productive. I know it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't daily crazy and impending doom. Please (insert deity of choice, universe, etc) let us get through this shitshow without a civil war, world war, loss of rights for everyone not male, white, and straight, famine, death, and whatever other horrors one can think of. I hate these winds. They are absolutely HOWLING here in SoCal. Not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight because I'm so afraid we'll get sudden evacuation orders the way we did with the Woolsey fire in 2018. There's no way of knowing when and where a fire might crop up and once it does, there's no containing it in these winds. I'm praying for the safety of our brave firefighters. My heart is with everyone in the Pacific Palisades and in Eaton Canyon near Pasadena.· 4 replies
