While looking for more about Gothard and sexual harassment, I found this blog, a mostly satirical take on Wheaton College:

Here is the page on Gothard:

Jesus! What a creepy comment left on there...

"We know who you are. You are leaving an IP trail all over the internet. You won't get away with this."

This.

I went there. It was the Approved College for Girls once my sis and I declared our intent to pursue higher education.

However, since my parents were not particularly pro female education, and only saw the value of us going there for our Mrs. degrees, they wouldn't pay for any of it and instead just filled out the FAFSA so we did it with loans. Which serendipitously gave me the freedom to get out....I decided that since I was paying for this damn (expensive) education, I could go to a state university which would be 1/10th the cost. So I did. And that is how I made my break.

OMG. I looked up Wheaton college and on their homepage they had this

"Why Wheaton?

"I like the diversity of Wheaton... When you come to Wheaton, you always meet someone who is kind of like you and you always meet someone who is totally opposite of you." "

Their standards must be pretty low if this is the sort of genius statement that they consider a good representation of their institution.

Ha ha, diversity. There were exactly three students of african ancestry when I was there, and a few more than that of Asian ancestry. It was pretty much 99.5% WASP.

That's my alma mater! So I have to defend it a at least a little. I'm not really a Christian anymore so I wouldn't send my kids there, but I loved my 4 years there. On the upside, they had great profs who treat women with real respect. Women were encouraged to go into any profession. I was a math major who went into business and several women in my class went on to become doctors, lawyers and other professionals. Despite the stupid diversity comment, the academic standards are high at Wheaton and they are rated very highly by college ratings systems. Check out their freshman class profile and you'll see the average act score is pretty high. Students dated like normal kids. Sex in the dorms was not allowed, though the apartments available to upperclassmen were not monitored. On the downside, you had to sign their statement of faith (which I didn't have a problem with back then) and Gothard and Piper both graduated from there. Plenty of evangelical wackiness comes out of Wheaton. Ick.

Here's the blogger's take on Piper -- pretty funny, and we may have the answer to where Josh Duggar got one of his bad habits ;) :

I rather like the one about the ghost of the college's first president, as well:
