Michelle's Hair

Has Michelle ever worn her hair differently? All we ever see are that awful crunchy curls/straight bangs combination, but I think she might look nice if she did something different with her hair. Are there any photos I'm missing?

Her hair has gotten better in the past couple of years. I think she finally got the hint she was sporting a mullet. She is actually a very attractive woman (IMO). But that mullet hair she used to have just made her look terrible.

Her smile in the old pic looks natural. The recent one, not so much. Is it just me, or does she always seem to be clenching her teeth?

Of course, if I had 19 kids and a husband like Jim Boob, I'd clench my teeth a lot, too.

Her knees! I am so defrauded!

Her hair looked much better when she was a cheerleader. The way it is now just seems like it must be harboring small animals or bugs or something.

I don't mind it now so much. At least she got rid of those side poofs....WTF was that?!?

It seems pretty long in this picture. (Why is Anna's wedding dress so short, and why is she holding Jennifer? I see brides holding babies at a lot of Jewish weddings; it bothers me, for some reason.)

Also, her dress did belong to her sister originally, so maybe it fit differently on her.

I thought she used her sister's dress as a pattern for the bridesmaids' dresses, not her own.

She said outright that it was previously Rebekah's dress; Rebekah was her Matron of Honor.

Interesting! My sister and I are built so differently that it would be more work to alter one of her dresses to fit me than it would be to create one from scratch.

What exactly is going off with the huge gap in Michelle's fringe in her most recent hairstyle? It's all straight but poufy to one side, HUGE gap of nothingness, then more fringe, but not as much. I do catch myself gawping at it whenever she does one of her interview spots on the show

I think it looked best here (in the clips where she's wearing the white shirt with the flowers all over it).

I agree, her hair looks nice in that video link, very relaxed and natural. I wonder how long her hair is now? I'd say she permed it, but she has a stray long strand on her sleeve which makes me think she just rolled it in curlers or something, but those curls are really tight so I don't know.

What I noticed is that as the years have progressed her voices has become even more gratingly sing songy and syrupy baby sweet.

BTW, Anna is not holding Jennifer in that picture. She is holding Johannah, Jim Bob is holding Jennifer, and Michelle was pregnant with Jordyn.

Is it just me, or does Michelle look healthier before she popped out a bunch of kids? That can't be good for your body to have that many kids, right? This has been discussed before, sorry.

Her hair has gone through several phases. It was really mullety pre-TLC and in the early specials. Then the TLC stylists got their hands on her and for a while it was almost normal. Lately it's been regressing to the point where I think something might be living back there.

She has a cowlick there. I have two cowlicks right at the forehead, one on each side. It's a pain the the ass to have a sidebang but with effort and product, it is possible. :)

Wait a sec....shorter in the front, super long in the back.....she's back to a mullet!

She has definitely had her teeth fixed since the show started. No doubt whatsoever.

Maybe that's why she hisses her 'S'es so annoyingly?

I think she's also had Zoom whitening or maybe veneers done to her teeth.

I think Boob and Mullet are starting to age badly. Not trying to be mean.

Really? For a woman with so many kids (and so many little ones) Michelle is ageing extremely well. Of course, it helps that she does very little actual parenting.

Guess I should update again? Frieda (Kiki, we renamed her) is here since the end of February 2021. She came with a bunch of problems, but is the best dog ever and is doing better every day. But we do now know how a dog with ptsd looks like. For real, not joking. If she is triggered during the day, she wakes up screaming at night. Not like dogs dream, but literally screaming. Other than that she went with us on countless trips, loves hiking and even cable cars. She is one heck of a fearless dog in situations who do not remind her of her old life.
My Grandpa passed away last May and I'm still grieving a lot. After sharing a house with my grandparents for over 30 years it is just horrible to lose one of them. Even though it was his decision and he got to go like he wanted. At home, in his bed during the night without doctors. He would have need more care and he did not want more care. So after turning 90 he decided to let go and became weaker and weaker.
In other news my dad stops working for good on April 1st. Retirement time. Keep my Mum and myself in your prayers. We really do not want him at home all the time. Haha!

I don't always make good decisions for myself due to severe depression but I did today actively decide not to do something that might have been detrimental for me and am very proud of myself.

Well, this is weird. At some point, recently, I broke my wrist. I had to get a Dexa-scan today (put it off for years) and along with some bone loss, damn I had it a few minutes ago… the results said, “Fracture risk is moderate, and the patient has a significant wrist fracture. Treatment is advised.”  my left wrist aches a little but not near as much as my back, feet, knees or fingers, damn RA. I have no idea how it happened. I haven’t fallen in 2 years, haven’t banged or bumped…  the dr will call tomorrow and we’ll get  this straightened out.

I got my stickers today after renewing my vehicle registration.
Just reminded me again how different Minnesota is from Iowa.  Since I didn't register my vehicle in January last year, I got a sticker for the month since all MN plates are made with JAN printed in the lower left hand corner.  They also require people to put stickers on both the front and back plates, as opposed to Iowa that just want's the single sticker on the rear plate.
Oh well, considering how MN is trying to move into the 2020s while Iowa is trying to lurch the fuck back to the 1840s, the type and number of license plate stickers is really a minor thing.
