Heh, I love 11/Rory, especially when it's not a fairytale 11/Amy type story (because 11 and Rory’s relationship in the show is so very, very different than 11 and Amy’s) I loved the episode The Girl Who Waited. When the Doctor made Rory choose which Amy he was going to save and Rory just hisses "This isn't fair. You're turning me into you." at him, I was like "there has got to be 11/Rory hate!sex!fic somewhere involving this scene".

Rory could have been a lot like the Doctor, thanks to his time as the Last Centurion, but he isn’t. I like the thought of the Doctor being petty enough to want to bring Rory down to his level (even though it’s not really “down†so much as “sidewaysâ€- the Doctor would think of it as “downâ€) and I like that Rory realizes this. So many people think of the Doctor as either the Best Thing Ever or Worst Thing Ever, it’s nice to have someone who apparently sees him for the mostly-good-but-still-definitely-flawed person he really is.

I don't even make the families, just build and decorate houses. I have ALL the expansion and stuff packs for Sims 2, and masses of downloads from TSR. I use the money cheat and then all the building cheats, and create massive houses and gardens. I can even do bits of the modding stuff, tho' I'm not good at it.

Most home blogs/magazines leave me cold, because there's usually nothing helpful for small living spaces (which is ridiculous considering how many people now live in small city spaces) and UK homes are tiny compared to American ones. Also, I am not really a fan of knick-knacks - I like decoration but mostly via art, interesting wallpaper etc. Ornaments that don't have some other function (eg musical instruments, candles and their accessories etc) just equal more dusting ;) Imo neatness and cleanliness is its own decoration. /secretly Amish apparently lol

I wish there were more TV programs for optimizing small spaces. It seems like all the home improvement/decorating shows feature giant homes.

I think my personal style leans towards minimalism with a sprinkling of personal decorations. I hate shopping so I don't acquire many things (except for books).
