But what are your thoughts on yaoi? ;)

My girl porn is hardcore man-on-man porn. With plenty of fetishes thrown in. I guess I fail at being a girl.

Myself, I seem to find cuddles sexier than anything else, which is so stereotypically girly I find it almost shameful ;) /forever alone

I can also only focus on one fandom at a time otherwise I find it distracting. I think I'm just neuroatypical

Yeah, I hate rom-coms and romance novels and most girls' comics myself - give me a suspense thriller/mystery/military intrigue/dark science fiction story any day.

But I will happily read sex scenes or look up sex pictures (not necessarily things on actual "porn" sites either) or read posts about sex when I'm in the mood for it, and have a wank, and not feel like there's anything wrong with it.

I can't imagine living life such that I had to be so careful all the time never to let my thoughts stray toward sex ever, because exactly as you say SOMETHING is going to make you want it, it's a physical drive we have, and if you spend all your time trying to avoid the elephant in the room you won't have any energy left for getting anything done.

Doesn't make me appreciate my husband any less, and anyway our relationship is more than just sex.

Honestly, it reminds me of an anorexic's obsession with avoiding calories. It seems so...unnatural. Like, I can understand wanting to avoid 'worldly' things that are purely cultural, such as TV, but wanting to eradicate your sex drive apart from in very specific circumstances is not. The Song of Songs seems to go against this mindset completely.

Hot Rod, Car & Driver, Guns & Ammo, anything dealing with engineering, especially engineering disasters (see CAIB report for example). I'd never make it in the fundy world...have never read a romance novel, never watched a "chick flick", have a Mustang set up for racing, and get an orgasmic thrill hearing a finely tuned exhaust rumble down the road...and...well...there was this time I got to test drive a 2012 GT 500...

Oh yeah. Engineering disasters, natural disasters... can read that stuff with fascination for days. Also weird diseases and genetic syndromes.

Romance in a book is okay as long as it's not the main thing. Endless pining over "does he know I exiiiiiist????" crap that it seemed so many people read in high school just left me cold. I want stuff blowing up or someone plotting a crime or two.

Oh, my girl porn varies, but lately it's been this live Depeche Mode video...Behind The Wheel Live in Milan. Dave Gahan is not a particulary handsome man, but da-yum he can move. There is nothing emotional in it for me...I just hot!

Oh, and the song is sexy too,,..all about wanting the female partner to take control in bed!

I too, am a big fan of floor plans. I'm obsessed with the Tumbleweed Tiny Homes...I want the Sebastapol model myself. I find the homes on wheels appealing, but DH and I need a bit more space:

Another obsession....King Arthur Flour catalogs. So yes, what defrauds me ranges from Depeche Mode to high end bakeware lol.

Non porn porn...RIOT PORN.

I literally spent New Years watching riot footage.

You are 100% Glaswegian, aren't you? :P

My favorite was the Glasgow Rangers riot down in Manchester a few years ago, where some fans trashed the city center after the game. BBC was showing footage, and I nearly peed myself laughing as the camera panned over the ci center and amongst the trash you would see an odd Ned passed out on a bench or amongst the trash.

LOL, I have some of that footage! Celtic still laugh at the passed out neds ;)

We had classics from the 80s, some Greek stuff, lots of burning cars and flying molotovs, some Romanian and Czech antifa...it was all good. I love my riot porn :)

HAHA. I love this thread. For my contribution, I side with LadyPug on Alan Rickman. We'll have a fun dinner with him!

I love, LOVE the Sims. I just downloaded freeplay on my phone, and now I am in trouble ;) I just got the Sims 3 too, but can't run it on my computer (it makes it crash, my laptop is as old as Sevy, nearing 6 years old this coming christmas).

And as to the YAOI.... FAKE is my favorite. I have some yaoi stashed away at my parents' house. I haven't heard anything about anyone finding my stash, heh, so I must have hidden the more..ahem, obvious ones pretty well, considering I haven't lived there in 7 years.. hmm.

Sev calls my fanfiction "Potter Porn" I haven't' read anything in a long, long time though.

The Ikea website's organisation tips and room inspiration. Storage is like crack to me, especially bathroom and laundry storage. I find myself yearning for a proper laundry room :)

You're a pony after my own heart, fluttershies. :-)

:)

Most home blogs/magazines leave me cold, because there's usually nothing helpful for small living spaces (which is ridiculous considering how many people now live in small city spaces) and UK homes are tiny compared to American ones. Also, I am not really a fan of knick-knacks - I like decoration but mostly via art, interesting wallpaper etc. Ornaments that don't have some other function (eg musical instruments, candles and their accessories etc) just equal more dusting ;) Imo neatness and cleanliness is its own decoration. /secretly Amish apparently lol

 I dragged my husband to the first Fast and Furious movie in theatres... then I took him home and had fun... The black car was beyond "impressive?"

I think the fundies have "purity porn." Tell me those 18-y/o SAHDs are not reading courtship stories and getting turned on.

My "girl porn" is corsets, retro fashion, cable dramas (esp. Mad Men, The Killing, Downton Abbey, and Homeland), vitamins, samovars (those big Russian tea kettle things), and cocktails.

Oh, also porn. ;)

I think my girl porn probably looks a lot like guy porn - graphic depictions of people having sex.

Dirty, dirty sex.

I miss Japanese home magazines for this reason (at least the old ones). They always had features about "look at how we optimized this space!!" about someone living with tons of kids in a tiny, tiny apartment, and just how ingenious they were about using up every tiny space of the closet and the kitchen cabinets and whatever else, and then how to put the same color on a bunch of stuff to tie it all together. Plus the aesthetic is far more to my liking, namely plain plain plain but with bright colors. I just can't STAND the "country" theming that happens with so much US stuff. I like modern, but lived in.

Honestly, that's why I prefer Ikea catalogues to mainstream home and lifestyle magazines - I find that Scandinavian style is very similar to Japanese style, being mostly white and quite plain with lots of splashes of bright colour and gender-neutral patterns. I hate 'country' style too! I love the countryside but I hate country cottages, mostly because beams and dark wood are really not my thing.

Also I am surprised no one has mentioned fanfiction yet, that is my go-to for porn of the written variety. Eleventh Doctor/Amy/Rory threesomes ftw...

ew ew ew ew ew!

Sorry, but no-one can have sex with the Doctor. Even Ten-in-my-dreams is inviolate (don't worry, I can morph him into another character when necessary. Made up a very interesting one the other night, involving gay Edwardian Cambridge undergrads. Fun times).

St Alan, on the other hand.... I will be crashing LPL's party.

I can't help it lol, I also ship Eleven/Rory without Amy (although I do love Amy in there with them too). I don't find Alan Rickman attractive, sorry :p

When I read the title i also thought of what is your porn. (That is not really porn.)

My husband is a model railroader and will spend hours reading forums and websites where trains and train pictures are prominent. I call it Train Porn. He also has a "Track Dealer" who supplies him with train related information and freebies.

My friend does the same with mountain biking. Aka... Bike Porn.

My weakness is Cakes, I will always pause to look at a picture of a well done cake or other baked good. Cake Porn!

Haha, my hubby loooooves cars, he collects -wait for it - Haynes Manuals. I'm not kidding. I call it his "car porn". Not only does he have one for both of our cars, my moms car, his dads truck, and his brothers car, but for 50-odd more cars/trucks.

What about pet porn? I like looking at the county shelter's "pets available for adoption" page and imagining which ones I would adopt if I could have any more. Then there's the horse for sale sites, and this morning I was looking at sites of breeders of pygmy goats. Some cities are now allowing them to be classified as pets.
