Thought I'd resurrect since I've been watching and am thoroughly enjoying the show!

Just about to watch the latest episode.

Sutton Foster is so funny as Michelle, I love the humor and Boo is super sweet.

I really hope we see it grow and allowed to bloom the way it deserves, and have a good run! :-)

Glad you did - bring up the topic again, I mean.

I confess to FF'ing through the parts wiht the kids, because .... well, I just like Sutton and Emily Gilmore a lot more. The recent episode where

Michelle and her friend let Truly come along to celebrate Michelle's birthday

tickled me no end.

Somebody somewhere called Sutton "a pelican on stilts" and with her unusual jawline, I have to agree - in the jolliest possible way! She's an incredible interview, seems to have lots more genuineness than one would expect from somebody who's lived her life, really, to be on stage, and then won a Tony to boot! I imagine she'd laugh about the "pelican" description if she ever found out.

CRS nor the real name of the actress who plays Mme. Fanny, who is not exactly Emily Gilmore but close enough but still not Emily, so she's so much fun. An older lady who speaks her mind ... I love it so much.

I do wish they'd cover up her freckly chest, more, though. Not a fan. ;)

Truly is so funny too, the whole

older ladies bookclub, talking about 50 Shades of Gray made me laugh! Especially that she 'accidently' threw her copy away ;-) Think it might have been a bit much for her, being so sheltered and all.

I can kinda see the pelican on legs thing, she has legs to die for and a big jaw/mouth, but I love all the unique expressions she makes, you can tell she comes from a stage background.

Emily aka Fanny (Kelly Bishop) is a great actress, love seeing her again! :-)

I'm really enjoying this show, probably even more so because of the Gilmore Girls parallels: small idyllic town, love/hate relationship between Kelly Bishop and a younger woman, the soundtrack. And I was a bunhead myself back in the day, so I love that they hired actresses who can actually dance.

Thought this was going to be Carrie Fisher and Star Wars.

I enjoyed the pretty eye candy supplied by Nathan Parsons as Godot. I hope he shows up more.

Is anybody watching the summer finale?

The mace scene was freakin' hilarious. I may or may not have spit tea all over myself and the chair

ETA: Boo, ending! Boo!

Yes, I loved the finale!

I totally laughed out loud with the mace spray, and the ringer dancer! lol! Almost cried at the end, when Michelle left and Sasha got on the chair!

Can't wait for it to come back, and to see what happens next!

 I clicked because I wear my hair in a bun almost every day and my brother's nickname for me is "bunhead."

This! I love that show.

Though, I think the Dead Poets Society reference is older than most of those girls. I however was thrilled to see it.

the mace scene

I almost cried when

Michelle and Hubbell were having that dream conversation, as well as the Dead Poets Society reference at the end.

ASP FTW on the season finale !

The recapper at TWOP did a wonderful job w it, and like him/her, I could live w that as the last word. Where DID Michele go next, and what happened to the young'uns & Fanny?

But I will be awaiting S2 w .. toe shoes on! Not really, just very tickled about it all.

:D

Plus the familiar faces. The actors who played Gypsy, Kirk, and Mitch Huntsberger have all shown up in or around Paradise.

I've described Bunheads to a fellow Gilmore Girl fan as: imagine if Lorelai hadn't gotten pregnant at 16, but instead run away to become a professional dancer. Years later the career isn't doing so well, she marries a guy she barely knows and ends up in the California equivalent of Stars Hollow.

Just caught up on the new season which started a few weeks ago!

Why do I not remember this creepy guy who keeps showing up to meet Sasha?
