Can't they use social networks like FaceBook and Twitter with supervision, or am I mistaken?

Josh is the only one using twitter and FB. The kids at the TTH aren't on any social networking sites. There was a thread here recently of the J'Slaves in pictures posted by their friends on Facebook. The friends are from a large fundie family and a few of the daughters have Facebook pages.

For a while, we watched reruns of The Office at dinnertime. Every single time, my 84 year old, super conservative father would say "he's a horse's you know what" (that's an exact quote) whenever Michael would do something stupid. But conservative? Like when Pam was living with her fiance? When Jan went to a sperm bank to conceive, with the intention of being a single mother? "I'm not an alcoholic!" Meredith? Not to mention all kinds of creepy Creed? Where's the conservative there?

There's actually a shot of the howler monkeys looking at the weather channel online in the intro to 17 kids and counting (or maybe 18), while the voice over talks about them watching very little television and restricting their Internet use.
