I've been following this story since it broke, and I hope it gets wider exposure. Why'd we fight that war again?

My age is going to show all over the place on this one, but here goes anyway: I thought Emo is a fashion thing, not an orientation, isn't it?

I get the statement "To Iraqis "Emo" is widely synonymous with "gay."" but, well, not to discount, but the article seems to be making a distinction between emo and gay, and I can't figure out why on earth someone would wear a style if they would literally die for doing so.
