Unborn in the USA: Inside the War on Abortion is a 2007 documentary film featuring interviews with pro-life activists across the United states. Its tagline is, "How the pro-lifers are winning". The film was started as a thesis project by students Stephen Fell and Will Thompson of Rice University.[1]

The film chronicles major events such as the annual March for Life and the 2004 March for Women's Lives, and features interviews with members of the Army of God and other pro-life activists.

I have not watched the movie yet. It is available on Netflix as well.

(I did a search, I do not think this has been discussed on FJ yet)

I would agree that they are "winning" - at the moment, at least. For all the voters who cast their lot with a tea party republican to send to their state house or senate to deal with "big government", is this what they expected? All these states spending so much time on attempting to reduce choice?

And here I thought it was about "freedom" and "getting government out of our lives". Yeah, right.

I can't tell if these people are being well-intentional or just plain obsessed with aborted fetus pictures.

I do not like abortion as much they do, but I would never force a woman to carry a child she doesn't want. Its her body not mine.

I clicked the link and it said "This rental is currently unavailable". Is it restricted by country?

I got an "undefined" message. Makes me wonder if the movie itself isn't available? I'd love to see it.

When so-called "Operation Rescue" came to my town in the early 90s, I was one of the people who organized and helped guard clinics as well as escort patients in. Some of those anti-choice fanatics are SCARY. I absolutely hated the way they brought little kids, who had no way of really understanding what was going on, and even tiny babies. More than a few of the babies and the tinies cried, and who can blame them? Even if there weren't all the shouting and singing and whatever the hell going on, not to mention tons of police (our city handled things so, so well, I was incredibly proud of them), it was the whole feel of the thing. Hostility was rolling in waves.

Honestly, from so many of those anti-choicers, I could feel the anger rolling off them... so scary.
