Ahh, Space camp episode, was wondering where the thread was.

Some interesting snark so far.

Josh makes a comment that he's not 15, implying he can't enjoy the camp, as well as how he couldn't be an astronaut, something about being 50lbs lighter, not sure if that was an FU internets or an FML.

And Boob making "whacky" noises on one of the simulators.

Michelle and JanaJill are in Israel and are briefly mentioning being left behind. Haven't heard anything too fundie other than a fawning Christian family in the beginning. I may have missed something when I was cooking my snack.

Desperation, Duggar style.

Hey guys do you know where the technology to explore space comes from? SCIENTISTS! OMG!

Poor Joy is going to be a young lady, but still has tomboy tendencies. Thanks, JimBob.

I think a lack of coordination is the *least* of the reasons none of the Duggars will be astronauts.

How is doing the kick-ass space walk a tom-boy thing anyway? The other young women really don't want to do that?

Did any of those NASA folks explain to them that the earth revolves around the sun?

What did FatAss say about the howlers and video games?

Despite their motion sickness tendencies (and the fact that we have no shuttle program) These kids can NEVER work for NASA. Its just not an option for them. SOTDRT ended that dream before it could even form. Sad...

Ahhh, cyst removal on Jed's lip.

I saw Josie had oxygen in Israel, was she on it when they arrived home? I'm just curious because in my direct care job I just learned how to monitor oxygen, hooking an individual up to a tank and a machine so I was wondering how it traveled. Can you have oxygen on a plane or is that risky?

Eewww... cyst description. And you forgot the poor kid!

Did you all notice who was tending to Josie on the flight? Hint; it wasn't her birth mother...

And did they really just forget the kid they were taking in for surgery?

They dammit. Why can i not type THEY on this shitacular phone? Grrrr

Ok I really want my own camera crew to take my kid to the doctor when I forget about him. Oh wait... I don't forget about my kid!

ETA: OMFG Jimboob is filming his kid getting minor surgery. Gotta get that shit on camera! Asshole!

How the fuck do you forget your kid when taking said kid to a medical appointment?!

I think just because they were over excited and kept pretending that stuff was exploding and crashing.

I am so fascinated by this doctor, but all the footage of their kids' bloody lips is just disgusting. Johanna (bike accident) and Jason do not need to relieve this stuff with dramatic sepia tones.

So would it be so fucking hard to pave a driveway? You have to park on the fucking front lawn? KLASSY!

Awesome, great parents couldnt even bring the kid to the doctor. Good work.

I realize that space camp may be a bit too young for the older girls but they should have had a chance to try out some of the fun stuff. Hell, if JimBoob can do it, they should have had a chance.

Amy's musical debut ya'll!

I want a film crew to help me carry my animals to the vets for their shots...

Wow. Just a single ep this week. Whats up with that?

Not sure about international flights, but for US flights, you can't bring your own O2 canister on board (per federal law) but some airlines will provide you with one on board. Most airlines will allow battery-operated oxygen concentrators to be brought on board (no legal prohibition, but also no legal requirement that airlines allow it).

Whoops, I apparently missed these episodes- thought this was a new one. Waiting for the ear bleeding, is it worth the snark?

My son and his friend just announced that Jessa is a FOX.

Josie just ran into the girls' bedroom when they were all going to bed. I wonder if she's got her own pack & play yet? As the parent of a disabled child, it really pisses me off that they're just treating her like one of the crew and not giving her special attention. I know we don't know exactly if/what disabilities she has, maybe some parents of preemies can chime in on what kinds of things super preemies need their first few years of life.

Haven't watched it yet but have to comment on the motion sickness thing - what is this, about the 4th episode where this is mentioned/shown? Enough already!

Josh joked that he was too fat to be an astronaut.

Joy got to wear pants (NASA uniform)!

The howlers were unable to use the flight simulator (they all talked over one another, pressed buttons, etc), Josh explained it away as the kids play too many videogames, they thought they were playing a videogame.

Jboy was having an abscess removed (for the second time), Michelle had plans for the morning and JB was supposed to bring him to the doctor. Instead, they had to call the crew and ask them to bring Jboy to the doctor.

Doctor made a joke about the Duggars being 15 (or something) percent of Arkansas, a pop-up clarified that the Duggar family was less than 1% of the population of Arkansas; but there were so many of them he'd end up treating them all. Cut to footage of the Jboy with the broken jaw after he fell off the stage.

All in all, another episode that really makes it look like TLC wants you to have a less than positive opinion of this family.

I don't understand the need to milk this season.

So the fourth episode (Springfield, Famy singing) is Michelle at 17wks, how many weeks was Michelle in Israel?

And Joy's birthday is in late October and that looks like one of the last episodes according to wikipedia. She miscarried in early December or so, I would just hate for the final episode to have Joy's birthday and have that be overshadowed by Jubilee.
