Which fundie blogs are the biggest?

Life in a Shoe has a large following. They are at the same time very, very fundie in POV and into patriarchy 100% and really really liberal about other issues-one of the daughters at 12 enjoys watching the God Father-so they are a puzzlement.

The LiaS family seems to pick and choose the aspects of fundieism.. but they are part of the VF crowd, aren't they? (Sorry if this is general knowledge, I never really followed their blog!) So how do they justify their behaviour to their super-holy environment??

I think ZsuZsu's and the PP's blog had quite a big audience after his "I want Obama to die"-sermon. He was also on CNN, so I'd guess that a few people googled him and came to their sites.

Kim has also spoken about how freely they discuss sex as a family (albeit saving it for marriage, but I think the Coghlan kids have probably had better sex ed than most fundie kids). I don't disapprove of that, it just fits in oddly with how much VF koolaid they've digested (yep Ophelia, they are Vision Forum people). The older girls do seem relatively worldly.

She has also posted about getting shower time with her husband. As to how they justify, well, the idea is they want their kids to be 'of the world' and know how to recognise what they consider evil, immoral, immodest etc so they can resist temptations when they have to.So they go to regular movies, read regular books and such with in reason with Kim and husband on hand to instruct them on why such and such is ungodly; This method is probably worlds better than being closed off like the Duggars and certainly Maxwells are.

As much as I dislike a lot of Kim's views, her kids are definitely more well-adjusted than other fundie families. I remember when there was a 4 Moms of Many group post about teaching sex ed and her thoughts were almost liberal compared to the other three bloggers (I know Raising Olives is one).

I think Raising Olives has quite a big readership.

Edited to ask how big Feelin' Feminine is since they went YAHsome?

I don't think the Bontragers are that popular. Although I don't know it for sure..

..I guess the Maxwell blog would be read by a lot of people, if it wasn't so damn boring. A lot of people in the (fundie)christian homeskool-movement seem to read their books and go to their conferences (although the number is getting smaller)..

I was wondering as the women living well site has loads of followers and likes on facebook and she doesn't seem crazy fundie. Weird views but not as crazy as others.

Just had my anatomy scan today. Would it be awful if we revealed the sex of number 2 At silly girl's first birthday party? We have the envelope, I just don't know If we want to open it before or during her party or give it to my sister in law to bake the color into her cake? I don't want to feel like I'm taking attention off of her

Guess I should update again? Frieda (Kiki, we renamed her) is here since the end of February 2021. She came with a bunch of problems, but is the best dog ever and is doing better every day. But we do now know how a dog with ptsd looks like. For real, not joking. If she is triggered during the day, she wakes up screaming at night. Not like dogs dream, but literally screaming. Other than that she went with us on countless trips, loves hiking and even cable cars. She is one heck of a fearless dog in situations who do not remind her of her old life.
My Grandpa passed away last May and I'm still grieving a lot. After sharing a house with my grandparents for over 30 years it is just horrible to lose one of them. Even though it was his decision and he got to go like he wanted. At home, in his bed during the night without doctors. He would have need more care and he did not want more care. So after turning 90 he decided to let go and became weaker and weaker.
In other news my dad stops working for good on April 1st. Retirement time. Keep my Mum and myself in your prayers. We really do not want him at home all the time. Haha!

I don't always make good decisions for myself due to severe depression but I did today actively decide not to do something that might have been detrimental for me and am very proud of myself.

Well, this is weird. At some point, recently, I broke my wrist. I had to get a Dexa-scan today (put it off for years) and along with some bone loss, damn I had it a few minutes ago… the results said, “Fracture risk is moderate, and the patient has a significant wrist fracture. Treatment is advised.”  my left wrist aches a little but not near as much as my back, feet, knees or fingers, damn RA. I have no idea how it happened. I haven’t fallen in 2 years, haven’t banged or bumped…  the dr will call tomorrow and we’ll get  this straightened out.
