I'm just glad he didn't insult the Virgin Mary, or I would have invoked the name of the Goddess on him.

Nicely done!!!

I'm only 45 seconds into the video and I'm already cringing. If paganism (a VERY broad umbrella term), assumes that God isn't good and needs to be manipulated, etc., it isn't any paganism I've encountered or read about (except perhaps Gnosticism).

Gah, now it's 'you feel bad because you're bad.' Way to guilt-trip, buddy. Apparently, non-Driscoll-approved Christians cannot truly repent. Stuuuuuupid.

Oh, Mark. You're such a moron.

THAT SAID.

There's a certain element of folk magick in a lot of Hispanic, Celtic, and African Catholicism. Not that he has any idea about that, or the incredibly rich and complex history of American folk magick hidden within Catholic practices. Idiot.

I think this is what Protestant Fundamentalism is, stripping off all the old folk magick from Christianity and more focusing on the entire Bible, which is all.....bible-centric and boring.

Sorta like making it into Bibliolatry (bible-worshiping).

Folk Magick and legends are always interesting.
