Amy's found a better use for her cousin's hairbands. It is nice she is pampering her grandmother. Annoying as she can be, Amy has always appeared to be close to her grandparents. Wonder if she and her mom lived with them for a bit while she was young?

Off topic but I linked to Anna's account from Amy's and there is a picture of a wash cloth and soap duck from the Ritz Carlton. Hpw the hell did they afford the Ritz Carlton???

Also, I've been defrauded by Amy Duggar's bare shoulder. That is all.

I've never found Amy to be as bad as others make her out to be. I can't really blame her for being a fame chaser. She grew up in a small boring town, with a good chance of living a boring adult life. I doubt she had the chance to be whatever she wanted and follow her dreams. I think most young women in her situation would revel in the 15 minutes of fame. She's far less objectionable than her aunt, uncle, and most of the cousins who are near her age.

She is ancient in this family to not be married and knocked up.

I think she is actually really normal, it's just too bad that she is associated with freaks.

I have soap penguins from a swanky Edinburgh hotel, which I acquired simply by asking politely at the reception desk when visiting a friend of a friend who was staying there. (I offered to pay, but the woman very nicely gave them to me.)

The wash cloth, though, is more suspicious. SOMEONE stole that. Unless there's a market for fake hotel towels, a la designer handbags?

what hotel does TLC/Today Show pay for when they visit New York City? I'd assume they'd have special discounts and would host them in such a hotel...

This was when they were in FL on the Santorum trail. I don't think she stole it though...I think she just took a picture of it when they found it in the hotel. I have no idea how they afford the Ritz or the Coach bags either.

I think she just took a picture of that washcloth, probably to show they managed to get into the Ritz Carlton. It's probably likely that Frothy's campaign or TLC paid for that hotel room, since I seriously doubt a used car salesman who takes long "vacations" from his job could actually afford to stay there.

Didn't they stay at the Ritz Carlton while in Florida? I think Smuggar posted (gloated) about it too. If I remember correctly, someone here looked it up and the cheapest rooms were around $500 a night.

I'm sure they probably get special rates, but it would still probably be a lot more expensive than something like the Embassy Suites, which is still a very nice hotel.

I think he went to an outlet (not that it justifies the cost). My mother bought me a small Coach bag at an outlet as a Christmas/birthday/late college graduation "YAAAY YOU'RE AN ADULT" present. It's a pretty silver colored one, I'm just afraid to take it anywhere because I know it was still worth more than the purses I buy from Dress Barn.
