Did the Otwell's Finally Flounce ?

I know there has been discussion about their blog before here, but I thought I would pose a new possible outcome.

Well, they have had a couple blogs, one on wordpress, one on blogspot, and a .com blog. Which all could be found by doing a google search.

Now, the .com is no longer a blog listed as a search result in google. Also, when you type in the blog address, you get a wierd wordpress login page, which is wierd since it is not even on wordpress anymore.

So, what do you think, did they finally make their blog private ? Did they find out about us FJ'ers here ? Or did they shut down their blog ? Did they finally flounce ?

I followed their blogs from the beginning, so it has only been recently that you cannot view the page anymore.

If someone has a wordpress login, try to login with your username and password, then see if you can view their page.

the otwell family one with the WP login you will not be able to see even if you use your WP login. It looks like it is password only and it's probably a wordpress hosted/wordpress.org blog, not an actual wordpress.com blog. I doubt they flounced.

You can tell it's passworded because it redirects to wp-login not wp-admin as it would if they had just taken the hosted blog down for no one to see. it wouldn't redirect to wp-login unless you needed a login and password to see.

I assumed they made it private (as per another thread I posted last week regarding the same). She is on Facebook but looks like she hasn't been on in ages or doesn't post much, just friends people. I found it interesting in her photos on Facebook that she and her husband actually attended an "Indian-Themed" party. What do I know, but would think it wouldn't be "fundy approved". It looks like we can still access her older blog, but not her otwellfamilydotcom blog. Oh well...

Speaking of Facebook, just my opinion, but I think Courtney looks great in "the almost 10 weeks preggo" photo" she posted yesterday. Though I hope she doesn't overdo it w/the curly hair in the future.

I had been following her blog for awhile; figuring they probably made it private.

Noticed that she had grown less fundie since her marriage with jeans, cut hair, and makeup. Also, she and her husband have a pretty nice home, and obviously have a computer, smartphone and gadgets. I think the husband might be in some tech job. His family definitely doesn't come across as fundie to me, and she's gotten pretty close to them. Maybe she is making her way out of fundieland. Hope so, she seems like a nice young woman and I have to say I like her. She seems happy now but wonder how life will be down the road when she's got a bunch more kids, she's gotta homeschool, the money and the space gets really tight. She's got only two kids now, so maybe there's hope.

Wonder if her own family sees that change and what they think. They seemed pretty fundie; they moved away after her marriage and seemed pretty poor so probably not able to visit. From pics posted when she visited them, I noticed that she was temporarily back in the skirts and frumpy clothes.
