Most of Tanzania is Christian....

Tanzania's population has been estimated to consist of roughly : – Christian 62%, Muslim 35%, followers of indigenous religious groups 3%.[31] The CIA World Factbook however states that 30% of the population is Christian with Muslim being 35% and indigenous beliefs 35%

It's not unusual to see major religions blended in with indigenous beliefs, so I expect that the CIA has a very specific definition of "Christianity" and "Islam" and "indigenous beliefs."

After all, even Christianity itself is a blend of various European pagan religions plus, you know, Jesus.
