Okay, this is pretty cute even though I can't stand Lyndsie.

She always looks plastic. Same smile, same head angle, same makeup every. single. time. Her hair is a bit longer since the last time I saw a photo of her, and it looks like she's gained a little weight her face, but she looks the same for the most part. I would LOVE to know how hard she is finding parenting. I'm guessing there aren't too many trips to Ralph Lauren anymore...

I won't snark on people for being unattractive ( mainly because I am highly un-photogenic) .. but I have no problem snarking on someone for looking too perfect. She really doesn't even look real, neither does her husband. Creepy.

THIS! she looks like a doll. And her husband.. I don't know, but I get some gay vibes from him.

Whenever someone looks like this in a picture here, people tell them they look "SO American". :)

I don't know, I like the "perfected" look.

Count me in on those who get gay vibes from him.

Absolutely! Didn't realize it until you mentioned it, but you are totally right!

Well, yes, there has been much talk about the gay vibe from him. Of course, men aren't allowed to be gay in the fundie circles (or in the South, for that matter), so he had to marry. Thankfully he found a woman without a uterus so he didn't have to father any children.

How does Lyndsie have the time to do the hair and all that make-up with a 1 year old in the house? Does she ever simply wake up and put on yoga pants and a t-shirt and spend the day playing with the baby? She seems all about the picture looking too perfect, as in if it looks OK, it must be Ok.

We are all wondering how it could ever be so perfect. She stopped blogging (or made her blog private), so nobody knows. This transition to motherhood must have been incredibly challenging for her -- getting a baby that was already probably 4 months old, getting a BOY (she wanted a girl), having to figure out how to be a parent (although she is the oldest of 9 so she probably does have some instincts). Giving up her beauty routine (and I use the word "beauty" quite lightly) has probably been quite a reality check for her. I wonder who takes care of her son while she is spending hours on the makeup and hair and shopping for clothes? Sigh. Such a silly girl. I just hope she's being a good mother and not relying on other people to raise her kid because of her narcissism. She thought everyone should fund her adoption. I hope she's learned something about self-sacrifice, but I wouldn't count on it.

I guess she simply doesn't take pictures then. ;) There actually is one picture in pajama pants and with a "Southern" or something tshirt on fb, but her hair and makeup still are uber perfect.

Writing this, I am sitting here with sweatpants, a florida sweater not matching in color, my hair in a messy bun, glasses and still the rest of yesterday's mascara on my face.

I sure wouldn't take a picture. ;)

Found a more natural one.

Looking through these, I need some tan. Now. :violin:

she looks a little better there, but still very plastic. as in, she looks like she's had plastic surgery, like a chin implant.

this is exactly the way I look right now. Instead of a Florida sweater I wear a Niagara Falls shirt and I don't wear glasses.

How fundie are Lyndsie and her husband? And what is there backround? 9 children sounds quite fundie to me!

I don't think gay but definitely metrosexual (I actually wrote "defiantly metrosexual" there before correcting, maybe was right first time? ;))

I find her husband kind of off-putting. Not gay, just... douchey. (I apologize because I hate that word, but I don't know how else to say it.) I hate his hair.

She kind of creeps me out. She looks exactly the same in every photo, and she wears way too much makeup. It doesn't even look good.

They're both attractive people, but the way they present themselves isn't doing them any favors.

Lyndsie looks really old in that picture of the two of them on the beach. She reminds me of Rue McClanahan's character on The Golden Girls - chasing after young men (any man, really - in the show, I mean). I don't think that haircut suits her at all.

I wonder if she ever kisses him or if it's too much trouble to mess up ALL. THAT. LIPSTICK.

I've often wondered how she goes through daily life with all the lipstick. Does she wipe it off before she kisses her husband? Does she never kiss her husband? What's the lipstick budget in her home?

They really can't be too fundy, given her Mary Kay "job", her appearant wish to draw attention to herself ,the brand name clothes, the tons of make-up, and the very un-fundy style of clothing she's wearing (pants, short skirts, shorts). All the bridesmaids wore sleeveless dresses, too.

I agree about the haircut. She could very well still wear this haircut with 50 or 60.She needs something younger. How old are they anyway?

1. The baby is cute.

2. Lyndsie is plastic.

3. Her Hubbie is most definitely metrosexual and my gaydar is pinging.

4. Lyndsie needs to stay out of the sun or the tanning bed because she will end up with some nasty wrinkles, 11's and crows feet later in life.

5. Lyndsie is heavily airbrushed.

That is all.
