Fox News was up in arms over President Obama not mentioning G-d in his Thanksgiving address on Youtube.

Too long, didn't watch - why would they be upset at the omission of "god"? I mean, most of them suspect Obama of being a Muslim anyway, so to me, to forego the mention of a ... secular [!], generic "god" is a good thing!

But then it wouldn't bother me to have "under god" removed from the Pledge. So there you go.

I was down on the fundie-farm this weekend, and the pastor preached about it, too. He saw it as a sign that our leader was steering the country in "a pagan direction."

I just watched last night's Daily Show and I found this hilarious. I echo Jon Stewart: "When did Fox News become the 700 Club?"

At some point, even Faux had to show that the President had mentioned "God" in his written remarks, and that out of recent presidents, "God" was mentioned in their Thanksgiving address with the following frequency:

Obama - 2 out of 3

Bush - 7 out of 8

Clinton - 4 out of 8

It is fun to watch the Faux News folks get all lathered up over absolutely nothing. Pure entertainment.

Must have been a slow news day at Fox. Either that or the people over there are really, really shallow and ridiculous. Just one more reason to avoid that channel.
