I was taking a look at the Dugger's World Tour in Scotland and I can't help laugh seeing Jimbob walk up to that guy and ask him about his faith background they look shocked when said he said he didn't have one.Who would think to be walking around in Scotland asking people about their faith background.I also got a good laugh out one of the kids saying they spoke a another language cause thats the way god made them. They better be careful walking around in some of these countries asking people about their faith background they could end up in jail

In some parts of Scotland it is a really BAD idea to do this anyway. You won't go to the jail, but you might have...a situation.

True that. You might get a club wrapped around your head or something. But see In Israel you might have more than a situation because proselytizing even for Judaism is illegal.

He's lucky he wasn't a bit further north, or he'd have been in line for a 'Glaswegian kiss'

I really dislike the term 'faith background'. I mean mine is Christian, because all my family of white british people have been so for hundreds of years, but it doesn't stop me being an atheist. By JimBob's own logic his 'faith background' is actually Jewish!

I think in general it is a rather impertinent question.

Over here nobody ever asks that.

If Jim Bob keeps up with asking the faith background question, it may really bite him in the ass one day if he asks the wrong person in the wrong place. Every here in the U.S., Boob would probably piss off some people by asking that question. If he asked some Native Americans in parts of New Mexico about that, he might piss them off because some Native Americans aren't Christians and get pissed off about being asked about religion or Christianity.

It's rude anywhere.

If I had the nerve, I'd counter with something equally rude -- let me see . . .

"How much do you weigh? Do you wash after going to the bathroom? Do you wear adult diapers? Who did you vote for? Were your parents married when you were conceived? Did you father (or, if a woman, did your husband father) all of these children, or did your wife (you) fool around? Do you dye your hair? How much alcohol do you drink daily?"

And answer the horrified stare or blubbering protest I got with:

"Oh, I thought you wanted to have a conversation that was all rude, inappropriate questions -- sort of a game, like on Who's Line Is It, Anyway?" No? OK."

And walk away.

:D

My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

Someone please remind me to buy peanut butter. Seriously, I have been meaning to get some for at least three weeks, and everytime I remember, the shops are already closed!

You know what I hate most about subtle racism? The gaslighting. Stop cosplaying as a nice person and say it with your chest.

We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!

Horrific! A 6 year old boy was murdered, and mother severly injured, in a hate crime in Chicago. Reports say they are both Palestinian Muslims and were specifically targeted because of that. Thankfully the man who did it is in custody
      This is pure evil
