I am CoE, Anglican, quite a low version of.

Although Anglicans traditionally have always baptised, quite a lot of families now do a dedication, meaning the baby can be baptised by full immersion as an adult, if they wish to. We baptised our three however and the vicar poured water over their foreheads three times as he recited the names of the Trinity.

The platform at the front of a church has a built in, sunken baptismal, which is boarded over all year, apart from for thr annual baptism service for adults. That usually comes a couple of weeks before the bishop comes to do confirmations. Adults go under once only, the vicar will say 'I baptise you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit' and then they go under. It's all projected onto the overhead screen so everyone can see.
