He may even do that to any woman not dressed by his modesty standards, knowing it's offensive, to try to punish her or show her how he thinks men will all react to her.

My time listening to many Fundies leads me to believe that the focus on women staying covered to protect the men, combined with staying out of the way of mainstream culture as much as possible has resulted in boys becoming men who have no idea they are even capable of controlling the impulse to look, let alone having no clue how to do it.

I agree that sometimes this is the case.

There's definitely times though, where they know they're wrong for doing it AND they are doing it to shame women because how dare we whores walk around showing off our bodies?

I dress relatively modest (imo), but I do wear jeans that fit my curves, tops that don't hide the fact that I have breasts, and I dress to please myself. That's what they can't stand.
