Church of the Nazarene

I am Nazarene and our church employs pants wearing female pastors. We almost all wear jeans on Sundays, tons of my church member friends post about loving Harry Potter and Twilight and Hunger Games books on FB. But a lot of people in our church do not drink and wouldn't ever. But when my husband and I joined we asked the pastor in membership class about alcohol and he said there was no official rule against it although being alcoholic is not recommended, and it is well taught that being one would lead to possible trouble for a person's family so avoid it if it is a temptation to you. Nothing against dancing, movies, or TV that I have seen. My husband and I are pretty "worldly" but we fit in well there.
