I missed the original broadcast, where supposedly Josiah quickly exited the stage after hearing the news. Those girls look positively haggard! Their faces still belie their youth, but for God's sake, it's like someone's been pumping ice water into their veins and they're going to skip past their 20's and arrive directly at 30, a la Sarah Maxwell! Does anyone else notice this? Their bloom seems to be fading right under our eyes! Can someone either post a link to the group's em masse reaction? Thanks!

Jinger was pissed. Clearly fucking pissed. She was death-glaring Jessa the whole time and looked like she wanted to put a fist through her teeth.

You could tell Jessa was bullshitting. She can't be that fucking... I don't know. Something about what she said set off my bullshit detector. It was just a ping, and then Jackson blew it up. It's odd how Jessa keeps looking at Jinger. Like, she's trying to make sure she's towing the party line. As if Jinger would really help her with that.

None of the kids seem happy about this. I didn't watch the whole clip, but shit, I don't think Josie is even happy with this. Did you see her with the bottle, smacking Jana/Jill to get her attention? She's going to be the new Jennifer/Jordyn.

I find it telling they only interviewed Jinger, Jessa, and Jackson, at least as far as I saw. I'm thinking that they were seen as the best bullshitters. I think JB's been slacking in the bullshitting lessons. Why didn't they interview Jana, or Jill, or Joy, or JD? Time? Suuuuure. Okay.

Jessa is really good at BS. I doubt Josie will be forgotten simply because the public will remember that she's the one who was a micropremie and so they will always get a lot of questions about her. But I don't think she'll get the attention she needs either.

Jana was asked briefly, she had maybe 15 seconds of "our blessing! yay!" talk but it looked hella forced.

Jinger was holding her head way too straight. I think most of the time when people agree they will either be nodding, or just...I don't know. I agree that Jinger might not have been terribly pleased.

If "Siaha really did leave the stage ASAP good for him!! He and Joy-Anna seem to be very likely to bolt out of there the minute an opportunity presents itself.

For the four eldest girls it's either put up with it or start pumping out babies themselves....what a choice. Talk about a "bounded choice."

Jessa definitely sounded like she was practically reciting from a hypothetical book about IBLP and children being blessings. Jinger looked like she was trying very hard not to keep any negative emotions or disagreements from her face, with a seemingly fake smile or else pressing her lips together. Jackson I think was telling the truth, I don't think he's quite old enough to realize that this pregnancy is risky for mommy and I think he just sees it as fun to have tons of kids around to play with. He is, IIRC, a good big brother who will carry the little girls to mommy or big sister when they get hurt, and I think he likes taking on a protective role. And I think he really wants round numbers haha.

Poor little Jackson. You can tell he's trying so hard to come up with an answer that he knows will make everyone happy.

Which is fair, since he is.. 7?

Not so much for JB though.

Agreed. Has JB rewatched the episode of Josie's delivery and his terrified face streaked with tears lately?

I think that Jessa and Jinger were looking at each other so often because they were keeping tabs on each other.

Watch that video with the sound off - neither of them have genuine smiles, and just about the only time they deviate from the accepted party smile is when they are looking at each other.

Jackson is so spirited and adorable. I want to adopt him!

Someone posted a clip of the announcement on youtube. The boy in the navy shirt on the far left (I don't know all the names, sorry, kiddo), his face was priceless. Run, kid, run! Get as soon as you can. We'll help you escape once you are old enough.

Link?

The Duggar kids aren't allowed to really feel. But none of them look happy about J20. They're probably scared their mom would die, or even the potential baby could die. They also probably are sick of doing all the work, and realize that they don't get any attention as it is so another kid would make it worse. Or they realize the show will have to continue now and they just want to stop being on tv.

Any one of those (or all of them), can explain why all the kids looked pissed by the announcement.

Even Josh looked unhappy at the news (and he doesn't live at home, so it doesn't really affect him!). I couldn't watch it all, Michelle gets on my last little nerve.

Ummm....didn't you know the world revolves around Joshy? ;) Every new sibling means less turkey at Thanksgiving!

I bet Josh is worried as well. I wouldn't blame him. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if he's tired of his mom popping out new spawn every time Anna does. That's got to be grating, that your kids have aunts and uncles younger than they are, and I bet he's competing with his own parents to see how many kids they can produce.

Josh is a self-centered douche for sure, but I'm pretty sure Michelle and JB had a big hand in that.

"Seeing my mom in labor, it just makes me appreciate it that much more that she's giving her life for each one of us. What a blessing that is. We're all glad to be here."

Then Michelle...talking about how far between Josie and this one, saying "we were thinking IT would be our last"...IT...she couldn't even say her daughter's name?! (Oh wait, she probably forgot it.)

Eating right and using an Elliptical does nothing for her uterus and vagina.

When the lady asked them about how they take care of the family financially, they skillfully evaded the actual question and were like "Oh it's because we're debt-free!" Yeeeah.

Most of the kids looked bored...the girls looked bored/irritated.
