I've been following them for a couple of years, since Bethany and Dan got married. Kori does seem to be more fundie lite, not sure if that's from being from Florida instead of the midwest, but she wears jeans, labled tees etc and the dress she was wearing in her prewedding photos was definately sexy on the fundie scale. I'm not sure if she works or not though.

I don't think he's unattractive. Older (than her) yes, but not unattractive. They actually kind of work together, visually. I don't follow the family, but I wonder how that one worked out. Did an almost 40 year old man have to go through her father, and do they have to be chaperoned? He's only five years younger than me and that kind of squigs me out. If she's almost 30, someone should send Sarah Maxwell a link so she can grab back a bit of the hope I am sure she has let go of regarding her own future.

About the 105 year old virgin in England - she wouldn't be a good match for the 60-something fundie virgin. She worked. She chose a career and being busy and having friends and hobbies over her god given role, at a time when she was bucking society, not just some fundie religious mandate. She was obviously a feminist before feminism took over the world and ruined it.

The Wissmanns are definitely Fundy-Lite and I really like them. Despite having typical Fundy behaviors (pro-courtship, girls only dress in skirts/dresses, etc), they seem to let their children choose whoever they want to marry. Both Andrew and Josiah married women who wear pants regularly.

Anyways, while this man (Alan, I guess) is some years older than her, I don't get a creep vibe from him.

But with Sarah, the main problem isn't her age, it's Steve. Unlike the Maxwells, the Wissmann parents seem to want their kids to get married (why Rachel didn't court before now is anyone's guess--I suppose it just wasn't the Lord's timing until now :roll: ).

I think the subject of her working has been talked about on a previous thread. If you go way back in her archive on her blog she talks about working as a lifeguard at Disney World. And working doing something with children. So

She obviously has no problem working. She was also seen in the field work pictures with the Wissmans. I wonder if she had a real job now that she is married other that occasional work with her in-laws in the dirt. I can't imagine someone like her enjoying such work. She seems prissy, for lack of a better word.

I would agree. Her wardrobe is nothing like that of her in-laws. She actually wears cute stuff! I'd definitely call her style sexy. I wear some of the stuff she does!

So I looked at it and found the blogwriteress's caption of a photo of Dad Wissman, two or three Wissman daughters almost as tall as dad, and Nathanael, who is about 10, at an aviation museum. She wrote:
